Straight figured girls rejoice! Update: A year later…
Thoughts on size/fit:I literally read hundreds of reviews (obsessed, I know) to find the best fit for my straight figure. According to the size chart for these snow pants I would need an XL in the waist and a M in the hip. I decided to order the L and hope for the best. Well, they fit great! They are slightly big, but I can easily wear a belt and can also fit leggings under them on especially cold days. They don’t cut into my stomach when bending down which would be so uncomfortable when putting on my snowshoes or XC skis or picking up after my dogs.Thoughts on the actual snowpants:First of all, I’m a black, gray, neutral kind of gal, when it comes to clothing. I decided to order the plum pants and am so pleased! Cute color and goes well with my plain, dark jackets. The pants themselves feel stretchy and comfy. I got them today, immediately put them on and took my dogs for a walk in about 30 degree temperatures for about 30 minutes. The snow that gathered at the bottom of the pants skimmed off and didn’t soak in at all. The pockets are fleeced lined and deep. I felt warm and also stylish compared to the big, bulky, snow pants I wore in the past. Since I just received these, I can’t comment on durability.I highly recommend these if your shape is more straight than hourglass.Update: I have worn these snow pants for one full winter and they have held up well. I mostly walk in them, so nothing too strenuous. For size reference: I am 5’6″ tall and weigh 165 or so. I bought the large size and they fit nicely with room for layering. I still recommend them!

    Great pants, great price!
Wasn’t sure what to expect, but these hunting pants are legit! Fit great, enough room for thermals, warm on their own and water repellent! Better quality then what I was finding in stores and way better price.

    Not Quite Waterproof
I bought these snow pants because I desperately needed a new pair. I really liked the idea of a “slim fit” style to ease my vain mind. Let’s face it, one doesn’t usually equate the words snow pants and slender! I was tired of feeling like the Pillsbury Dough Boy when playing outdoors in the winter! These pants do live up to the “slim fit” wording. The fleece lining was nice and soft, though I layered with a pair of fleece-lined leggings for extra warmth. Though the weather was hovering around 32 degrees, the windchill that afternoon was in the low 20s. I was skiing that day and completely comfortable, even on the chairlifts. While I was warm, I was not dry…and, no, it wasn’t due to falls! It was snowing heavily and the chairlifts were soaking wet. I didn’t think that much of it until I got to the top of the hill, got off the chairlift, and thanks to a gust of wind, discovered that my back end was wet and rather chilly. There’s nothing worse than being wet in chilly, windy weather.Pros: The zippered pocket on the thigh is deep and perfect for storing anything you’d like. There is a ring to attach your keys to for safe keeping. No one wants to lose their car keys/hotel key on a mountain! I had no problem pulling the pant cuffs down over my ski boots. I think these are last year’s model (1. because of the heavily discounted price, & 2. because the Bluebird color was in stock on Amazon but not on the Arctyx website) because the description on the Arctyx site says that there are zippers along the lower legs for ease of pulling down over ski boots-the pair I received did not have them. I ordered the Bluebird color and it is gorgeous! A beautiful shade of teal, which I paired with a light grey ski parka.Other Cons: The two hip pockets are shallow and do not have zippers (again, I think these are last year’s model because the current Arctyx site says these pants come with zippered front pockets & the pair I received had nada). Basically don’t put anything in there that you don’t want disappearing. I liken those pockets to what you get when you buy a low-rise pair of jeans. The jeans look great, but anything you put in the front pockets will fall out the moment you even think about leaning over. In my rush to order the snow pants, I didn’t realize they weren’t the same pair as on the Arctyx web site. Are these snow pants a total dealbreaker? Ehh, I guess I have to say that I got what I paid for. I wasn’t expecting the world when I was only paying $26 for them. I’m irritated that they aren’t truly waterproof. Who want to be wet & cold while playing outside in the winter? The hip pockets are a disappointment, but thankfully my parka has enough pockets. I wouldn’t wear them on a really cold day (sub-zero weather), even with wool leggings, but that’s to be expected. They are clearly described as shell pants with a fleece lining, not insulated. The fit was too be expected. They don’t make that awful swishing noise when you walk (so you can sneak up on people?) and I didn’t feel like my butt was going to slide right off the chairlift like an old pair of cheap polyester snow pants. I’ll wear them for the rest of the season and reevaluate next winter.

    How cute are these!?
For $60!! Run don’t walk to snag a pair. I’m 5’7 about 160 pretty curvy on the bottom and these are large. They fit just right. I do have leggings under them so I think they’re just a tad tight on my thighs but the fabric is very stretchy and comfortable. I probably won’t actually wear them with leggings skiing it’s really cold they’re really really well-made. super Duper soft. I have the north face pair that I think these are dupes for and I prefer these to those and I believe they were $170. I bought and returned several pairs of pants upwards of $270 and these I’m keeping!

Warm and Can Pass for Work Pants
I’m one of those people who are annoyingly cold all the time. I bought these to wear into the office. Maybe a little extreme, but I’ve tried everything else. I liked the look as they are not obviously the snow pants we all think of when we hear the term “snow pants.” I ordered my regular size due to numerous reviews who said these were roomy enough to fit other pants on underneath. Maybe that is the truth for a body type that isn’t mine. They are big in the legs, but pretty uncomfortably tight in the waist. I was able to button them so there’s that. Going up a size seems like they will be comically large in the legs so I will persevere… or lose weight. One of the two. A little elastic in the waist would have made the world of a difference.Sizing aside, they are soft, comfortable, and my legs have been warm all day. I won’t get to test them in the snow because it doesn’t do that where I live. Maybe one day.

Good quality and fit for the price
I’m 5’6” and 190 lbs, and usually fit into a Large. I got a Large and they fit great, just a little snug. They feel high quality, except for the hooks at the waist above the zipper. I wore them outside (it’s 15 degrees F right now) for a bit and I stayed warm. Snow pants are usually really expensive so I’m glad I found these within a reasonable budget.

Estos pantalones me gustaron mucho, los use en Toronto en invierno, me mantuvieron abrigada y aún con lluvia aislaron el agua y el frío sin ningún inconveniente. Fui muy feliz con esta compra.
