Thank you! Finally a ham that is not sweet! Super tasty, too!
This is the only ham I could find ( so far ) that is not sweet. And I’ve tried a lot! A lot! I don’t have a problem with sugar, I simply hate any sweetness in my ham. I don’t understand this country’s obsession with sweet ham, but ok. I get it. We are all different. And therefore I would expect a choice like with everything else here. But not so much when it comes to ham in the US. We just loooove sugar in everything here. xD Anyway. This ham is not sweet at all. It’s super tasty. Great simple ingredients without unnecessary crap. Great size. Love the larger packaging! And love that it can last a decent amount of time after opening, too. Please don’t ever stop making this! There’s plenty of sugar honey maple candy ham out there already! 😛

Handy when on the go or for a quick protein snack. Could be a bit more flavorful but good enough. Does not provoke any reactions from my highly reactive body.

Tasty, flavorful, and Whole30 compliant
I’d enjoy these ham slices anytime, but they’re particularly wonderful because they’re Whole30 compliant. I roll up the slices with Applegate Natural Smoked Turkey Breast (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001000JPA), cut them crosswise, and add hard-boiled egg to make a chef salad. Delicious!I don’t know what caused the other negative reviews, but I’ve been enjoying this product for the last 18 months. If you’re expecting salty, thick ham slices, you’re not going to be satisfied. If you’re happy that there’s an organic ham product that doesn’t have nitrates or nitrites, you’ll be very happy with this one.

Yay! Not sweet. Not smoked. Boo! Cheating
Short version:Good productBS pricing and packagingBeen buying this ham for a while. Was so happy when I found it because it’s become nearly impossible to find a good quality, old-school deli ham. Meaning NOT sweetened and NOT smoked. Really aggravating. The fact that it was absent a bunch of the usual garbage processed food ingredients was doubly great. Despite its higher price, I have been so thrilled about this product that I had even started keeping extra packets in my freezer.Sadly, they’ve started playing games with their packaging. The so-called family size used to be 12 oz. That’s already a relatively small package to feed an actual family. But now, instead of just being HONEST about raising their prices, the company has chosen to insult consumers’ intelligence by shrinking the packet to 10.5 oz… WTF? It’s not only 20% smaller, but it does not even divide up into a full number of servings. Ridiculous! Incredibly offensive not to mention inconvenient.This is a company that sells itself on its integrity!?!? I will have to stop buying their stuff until they start demonstrating better judgment and ethical business practices.So disappointing.
