Anker Solix C300 Review: My New Travel Buddy
I recently picked up the Anker Solix C300, and I have to say, Iâm pretty impressed! Let me tell you why this little guy is quickly becoming a must-have for me:Worth Every Penny:For what it offers, I think the Solix C300 is totally worth the price. Anker is known for making quality stuff, and this power station lives up to that reputation. Itâs reliable, easy to use, and just plain convenient.Small But Mighty:The Solix C300 might be the smaller sibling of the C1000, but donât underestimate it. This thing is way more powerful than Ankerâs 250W power bank, giving you a significant boost in capacity and versatility. This little buddy powerâs small appliances with ease. What really sets it apart are the dual 140W USB-C ports, which are a game-changer for charging speed and convenience, itâs like having a mini power station without the bulk.Quick to Recharge:One of the things I really appreciate is how fast it charges. Whether Iâm plugging it into the wall or using USB-C, it juices up quicker than I expected. I got it fully recharged in just about an hour(with wall charger), which is great when youâre on the go.Easy to Use:The display is clear and gives you all the info you need, like how much battery is left and whatâs being powered. The built-in LED light, has come in handy more than once, especially when the sun goes down.Final Thoughts:If youâre looking for a portable power station thatâs powerful yet easy to take with you, the Anker Solix C300 is a fantastic choice. I hope this review helps you see if this little buddy is for you.

Good product. Works as advertised
Product shipped quickly. Nice small and lightweight package and construction looks solid. The app works well and the unit is very quiet. It works as expected, charging very quickly. The capacity is limited with only 288 Wh, you canât run everything, but for laptops, iPads phones and low power lighting, itâs great. Also good as a UPS for a router etc. Good product all around. Would definitely recommend.

More than expected
Purchased this for a friend in NC who was impacted by the recent hurricanes. Package arrived before her area got power back so that was great. The following are her comments: It’s heavy, much heavier than she was expecting. It came with a charge so she immediately put it to use. She was running a propane generator during the day for a few hours to keep her fridge cold. She used that time to recharge the Anker. It charged quick. The availability of different outputs is very nice – she recharged her smart phone, laptop, a smaller Anker battery and a number of other things at the same time. It gives her piece of mind that she has a reliable power source.

Great size and features.
The size and form factor work well for my needs. It’s ability to charge from AC or USB-C are critical for my use case. The layout of ports and buttons is well thought out. The Blue tooth app is also very useful. The build quality is very good. I have no real complaints at al about this unit. I wish it came with a shoulder strap.

Compact Power for Camping Adventures
The Anker Solix C300 was an excellent addition to our family camping trip. It handled everything we neededâwe used the AC plugs to inflate our air mattress, charged our phones throughout the day, and used the built-in light to illuminate the tent before bed.The size and weight are perfect for camping. I initially considered a larger unit, but Iâm glad I went with this one. It strikes a great balance between power and portability, without adding unnecessary bulk. The only feature I wish it had is a wireless charging pad on top, where the logo isâit feels like the perfect spot for it. If Anker added that, this would be the ultimate camping power station.Overall, the Anker Solix C300 is reliable, lightweight, and packs just the right amount of power for outdoor adventures. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a portable power station that gets the job done without weighing you down!

Good buy, but AC outlets time out even with the app.
Love the compact form factor, although I would choose not to use the strap holes for hiking. Fall danger and what happens when you drop a batt don’t need a chance to mix. For hanging on a line, it might do the trick.Mainly got this to charge phones, tablets, and other devices. I was unimpressed when using either AC outlet that it has an auto-shut off that cannot be overridden or canceled. Luckily, most everything I charge uses USB and that does not have a cut-off.I’m pleased with the charging time and capacity. The light is useful, but the app and the Bluetooth functions seem to miss the mark.

Blind users will find this screen reader friendly on iPhone
In keeping with the quality of other anker products, this one has impressive built quality and attention to detail. I was very happy to find it worked well with my voice over screen reader on iPhone which is important since I am blind. I was able to set the device up entirely on my own and I can tell the status of the device using the app. I bought it to power my networking equipment during power outages and my calculation suggest this is going to provide roughly 8 hours of run time for my wireless gateway and router. Those devices consume roughly 25 W and when I put my kilowatt meter on this device plugged into the wall once it is charged, it consumes about 37 W suggesting there is an overhead of maybe 12 W on the device itself.I will report back if anything turns adverse but at this time I feel like this was a fantastic purchase.

Great little power supply
This power station is versatile and very helpful. Works as UPS when needed for CPAP. Can use it for small jobs that I might have run a long extension cord for previously. Had it in the car with an electric air pump when having a problem with leak in tire. It is light enough to carry around, but I haven’t carried it very far.

Bought two and they’re awesome. Very portable, love the handle and form factor. Will buy more in the future.

Fast usb charging and even faster recharge from wall socket C300AC. Goes to 320W. 3 pin UK sockets sold it to me. Now can charge other, higher wattge equpment, outdoors. Im thinking of getting another one soon. Its ultra portable at 4kg compared to C800 wighting over10kg. All my equipment runs on lower voltage and wattage to be more mobile. Grab&Go. Even StarLink goes on it like charm.6* STARS from me.

Upon opening the box you are presented with two documents, the main unit protected by cardboard end caps and a plastic bag along with an AC cable (inside a triangular piece of packing material).First impressions are that the unit is very well constructed. The plastic casing is high quality and feels impact resistant. The sockets feel very secure and high quality. The only physical issue was that the lighting button would stick sometimes (see video – white button in upper right corner). This did not have any impact on functionality, but did not come back if you pushed slightly off center. This one negative is not enough to cost the review a star, but I felt it was worth pointing out.I was surprised that the instruction booklet did not go in to detail on the product. There is an application you can download for your phone that has a menu item for instructions, or alternatively you can use the QR code to access on online version of the manual.Although you can use the device standalone without the phone app you should install the app. First thing after initial installation of the application it will check the firmware level on the device and offer to up date it (see photo “UP” indicating progress). I did this via Bluetooth, although the device also supports WiFi.I have shot a short video to show the unit and it’s display; you will note when I plug in a USB cable it reports the drain wattage along with the estimated number of hours of remaining charge. This is also the case for other outputs.I have used the AC outlet for lighting purposes. If you are using it for power tools please confirm your tool’s draw is within specification of the unit. There is also an input for a Solar Panel. I have other brands of panels that use a different style connector, so unfortunately could not test this functionality. With this said you could consider purchasing a Anker compatible unit to ensure smooth operation. The unit has two tabs on top for a carry strap, however no strap comes with the unit (there is indication an optional strap is available). Finally the unit does have cooling fans, although these never seemed to kick in during my usage patterns, so I assume they only come on for heavy or prolonged use.Overall Verdict?High capacity and solidly built; great for camping our other use away from the grid. I recommend this product for anyone that has high power demands that can’t be met by a typical small power bank – of for those on extended camping trips.
