Very useful and long lasting
My phoneâs battery health is in the low 80s, and my will drop down to 50% or 40% remaining by the time I get home from work. I use this power bank to charge it while Iâm sitting at the counter eating while watching a video, or while Iâm playing a game in my recliner and not near an outlet. Iâd rather not run a long cord from the wall to my chair so I use this power bank to charge my phone while I game, and I also use it to charge my controller. Itâs been so useful.So far Iâve been using it for all of last week and it lasted the whole 7 days without needing a recharge. When it does need a recharge, it doesnât take long at all. Normally itâll take about 2hrs, but in the app you can set it to take longer to charge, to optimize its life, and that takes about 3 or 4hrs from 0 to 100. The screen tells you how much current is being put into the device and how much is being output, and the app tells you the same as well.I like this a lot more than I thought I would. It really shines when paired with the base station. I feel like the base station should have been included though. I noticed there was a bundle for the 20,000mah version and the base station, but not for the highest capacity 27,000mah. Would have been nice and a bit cheaper. Buying both together is expensive, but for a high quality power bank and the convenience of wireless dock charging and fast input and output, itâs really nice.My only complaint, if any, is lack of wireless charging built in for phones. This thing is the size of a brick and certainly weighs as much, why couldnât they put a wireless charging spot below the screen mid way or something? Or on the back? A lot of devices are moving to wireless charging, for Ankerâs most premium power bank, I feel like that should have been built into it. Itâs not like itâs lacking the room for it. But I can get by with my MagSafe cord, itâs just a minor complaint if I had any at all. Oh, and the screen doesnât rotate like the older model did.One thing I noticed is I canât use the power bank while it is docked. Iâm sure thereâs a safety reason for that, but Iâve had one other power bank from another company that worked while it was charging. So it could charge a device such as a phone, while also receiving energy to charge the power bank itself. That power bank recently stopped working though. Still works, but the capacity has really gone down for only being 2yrs old. Maybe thatâs why we canât do that with Ankerâs power bank? Idk, I just feel like itâs possible to do but maybe it has an effect on the longevity of the power bank. Itâs not a big deal, the base has the same 3 usb ports on its side as the power bank has on top, but it was something I tried to do and noticed it wouldnât work so I wanted to point that out.Overall though I think this is an excellent power bank and well worth the purchase, but maybe wait till you see a sale as it is certainly pricey

The base only supplies a max of 100W. Keep that in mind for multiple devices charging. ALSO there is NO pass through charging with the base through the bank to a device. Honestly you wouldn’t need it. The bank charges the device from zero to 100 in under an hour, and the bank actually puts out more (240w total).Although both can be expensive, individually and collectively, if you are a person whom travels and needs a constant bank of power for multiple devices, GET BOTH.
