Great little blind
This is a nice, simple and lightweight blind. It’s roomy enough for me and my 10 yr old but may be a bit tight with two adults. I have the two person version. The material seems good but the side windows are a bit high and could use a few pieces of Velcro to keep them open. Not sure about durability, ok for now but the entire structure hinges on two small screws on each armrest. If they break or come loose it would affect the whole blind. Overall I’m impressed with the design, weight, and mobility.

A lot of engineering went into developing this blind. I’m really impressed. It’s the easiest pop up blind to open and fold that I ever used.The only thing that I don’t care for are the small windows. All of the windows (except the large front window) are too high for me to see out of comfortably. In as much as the blind will be installed in only one place this year, I’m sure a cushion or two on the chair will get me to the level that I need for a better view.Chairs are also very comfortable and have cup holders. There is nothing about this blind that would make me give it less than 5 stars.

Screw Broken. You need a 10-24 screw at least 1inch
First off I would like to say that this ground chair blind is amazing. It is comfortable lightweight, packable, and set up in less than 30 seconds. The one big downfall I had with this ground blind is the screw on one side for the tent arm. That screw broke off while I was opening the ground blind to cover myself unlike the third or fourth time of me opening and closing the blind on the same day that I purchased it. When I looked closer, I saw that the screw was bent on both sides of the chair. I sent the chair back to Amazon and got a replacement in two days. The new replacement also had the screws bent. So I took one of the screws out went to tractor supply replaced both screws and replaced the plastic washers for metal washers. Now the chair is awesome and works great. The first picture is of the broken screw half of it was still in the chair and the other half broke off. Second pick is of the screw. The third pick is of the unbroken screw, you can see how it was bent. The fourth pic is of the new screw inserted into the chair.New screw size is 10-24 and at least 1 inch. I purchased 1 and 1/2 inch screw and as seen by the pic you can see that it sticks out a little.I also purchased #10 Stainless Flat washers. You will need 10 all together.Hope this Helps! And at the end of the day it is a great Blind!!!

Great blind
I bought the Ameristep 2 person chair blind last fall and hunted opening day of gun deer season in it. It was very easy to carry into the woods and set up in the dark. I did carry it without the supplied carrying bag, as the bag material is stiff and noisy. No problem carrying the closed blind by hand. Key thing in set up: make sure you pick a level spot or it can be front heavy. The weather was fierce during the day with a stiff wind from behind and blowing snow. The blind was very stable and protected against the wind. I did use the stakes to secure the bottom of the skirt. There is plenty of room for your backpack in the second seat. There is also room for a small heater in the leg space in front of the second seat. I used a Coleman Sport Cat that stands straight up. Helps to have one of those thick, round hunting cushions to put on the seat to fill the âbucketâ and make the seat more level for comfort. 15 minutes after I set it up, 4 doe walked 12 yds in front, and didnât seem to mind me at all as they foraged. Had 6 deer in front of me when I filled my buck tag later in the day. None seemed to pay any attention to the blind. Left it up overnight and it was just as I left it the next morning. Easy to take downâwatch the fabric on each side, as it can catch on the chair arms when you put the canopy back. My friendâs wife used it this Fall for a successful bear hunt. She is a lefty and liked that she could switch seats to accommodate that. Helps to have a shooting stick, especially if you have a longer barrel.

Seat broke on second use
Product arrived, taken out of box, opened to test out, then put away. Several weeks later actually used item on my deck – within 10 minutes of use, the screw that holds the seat to the frame stripped out. I’m a 5’4″ lightweight female, no large stress here. Unfortunately return window had closed by the time this happened – so I guess I will need to figure out a way to fix this in order to make it usable. Also note: There are numerous pinpoint holes in the fabric, Teeth of zippers are so loosely apposed that light shines through.- I doubt the long term durability of this product. Attempted to upload pictures but that didn’t work.

I’ve taken this out hunting a couple times highly recommend if you’re looking for a mobile fast set up.Pros:Seats are comfortableSets up In under 2 minutes staked into ground and all.Easy to carryKeeps elements outFits in tight spaces easilyIf you’re hunting I’m cold weather the wind really dosent effect you at all unless you have a ton of windows open(which you shouldnt)Has 2 storage pockets inside when tent is deployed.Has 2 cup holders in chair arm restsCons:The steaks it comes with aren’t great but workShoulder starps could be more comfortableZippers are loud so make sure you commit to whichever window(s) you want openAll in all absolutely love it way more manageable for a solo hunter than tarditional blind even if it says it’s for 2 people the extra room is great for a backpack you don’t want on ground or a place to rest your calls or provisions. You can even throw a leg up on the other seat and lounge while hunting lol.
