Perfect!
I bought this for my paranormal equipment. I even received it a day early. So perfect, that I ordered another one! Luckily it comes with 2 foam inserts (as well as a fixed piece on the top and bottom), as I screwed up on the first one and had to redo it. Sturdy, well made case. I would definitely recommend them!

Perfect hard case for Rokinon Cine-AF / Samyang Cine-AF set of four
Others have written (positively) about the general features of this case and I concur with those conclusions. But I wanted to leave this review for a specific use – holding a set of the Rokinon/Samyang Cine-AF lenses launched in 2023. This case is as close to perfect as you can get for this purpose – and at a really great price.I ordered this case the same day I ordered my new set of Rokinon Cine-AF lenses. I had been looking for a hard case that would fit the set well (not too big, but still enough padding.) The measurements on the product description indicated this would fit the bill. The lenses and the case arrived the same day and after (carefully) pulling the pick-foam from the right spots, it became clear the case was exactly what I needed. The fit is snug, but snug is safe. There’s even room for a fifth lens when the 20mm comes out.The latches are tight, but I suspect they’ll loosen up some over time.

Worth it …
… I thought it would suck, but that was not the case …… ð …… I haven’t challenged the case for durability, but it does seem solid and sturdy …

Solid, functional, not enough interior space.
Itâs a solidly built case. I found the partially perforated foam, divided into 1/2 inch segments to be too much, too thick. Itâs difficult to leave a partition one segment thick because the segments tend to break, and two segments is an inch thick.I am took out the bottom piece of foam, 1 inch thick non-perforated and filleted it in half to be a 1/2 inch thick so that a short telephoto lens can be put in standing up.Other than the annoying foam, which I may replace someday, it seems very solid. Thick plastic, good wheels and handles. As others have said, the opens for padlocks arenât metal reinforced, but itâs good enough for me.One more complaint is that the feet on the back of the case catch on the lip of steps when trying to roll the case up & down steps. I can see them getting mangled pretty quickly vs concrete steps.

It’s not a Pelican but is is really close
Really good stout case, not the easiest foam to modify but just make sure your blade is sharp and you shouldn’t have any trouble making spaces for your items.Foam waffle weave glued to the lid and comes in two layers of pick foam on this model each about 2.5″ thick plus there is a solid layer of foam under these about 1″ so there is a lot of padding available.Very secure once you close the latches and lock them down, should protect things well. All that being said just like any of these small cases/safes even if pad locked or securely closed, if you want to open them and don’t care about the case, a small 3lb sledge will probably crack any of them open without too much effort.Just be aware of what purpose it is serving. Was bought to organize and protect some electronics.Great all around case and highly recommend it.

Great case for the money!
I wanted a case for an Auber PID, (an external thermostat) for my smoker. I had been storing it outside, unprotected, in an outdoor kitchen area. I wanted to make sure it was protected from the weather, moisture, dirt and dust. I thought about getting a Pelican Case from Amazon, but the size was just off and the next size up was too pricey. After researching it on Amazon, I found that Amazon Basics had a very similar case that was just the right size. When I received it, I was surprised and very pleased at how easy it was to pick away the pre-cut foam to get a custom fit. There is also a second piece of foam if it is necessary, which in my case, it wasn’t.I can’t compare this case to a Pelican because I’ve never owned one. I realize they are considered the Mercedes of this category, but if your needs are more basic, as were mine, this is an ideal way to protect small electronics with a hard plastic case that shuts super tight in order to keep out the elements.I think this case is a great value and a very well designed product. I wouldnât hesitate to buy it again!

Fits a Sony 6500-24/105 and added zoom
If you have ever had a Pelican Case, you know how secure a box can be. Positive latching and tight fits make you believe that you could drop one of these multiple times, or even submerge it, and never have an issue. While I have never tried putting it under water, cases like this are great for traveling and toting. The amazon case, is seemingly made with the same specifications in mind. All the features of a Pelican Case are present at a lower cost. For this current case, I was able to configure the foam to hold a Sony a6500 with a 24-105 lens attached, along with the 70-300 zoom to the side. There is still room for extra batteries and a short strap. While this does not replace my soft case, it is great for putting in luggage for a bit extra protection or in the back seat of a car while traveling. Great and durable protection, just the right size for what I normally need with me.

Seems sturdy enough
Out-of-the-box preview: Seems sturdy enough. The two layers of customizable foam are pre-cut into ~1cm squares (you can see the cuts when you press down on the foam). They’re still connected so you have to actually finish the cut then remove the foam.

I’ve always been impressed by Amazon Basics, and this product is no exception. If you’re hesitant about purchasing it, prepare to be pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness and sturdiness. Previously, I needed two bags to carry my cameras, but now, I can fit them all in this single case (see the picture). Its sense of security provides me with peace of mind. The addition of wheels is an invaluable feature, especially as I create content in various locations. I managed to snag it at a discounted price, paying only half of its original cost. However, even at full price, it’s a worthwhile investment for safeguarding your precious equipment.

Der kleine Koffer ist sehr praktisch. Man kann den innenliegenden Schaumstoff zuschneiden, in meinem Fall habe ich die Einlage für eine kleine Drohne zugeschnitten.Der ganze Koffer wirkt sehr robust.

Surprisingly good hard case at a fraction of the cost of a Pelican or HPRC. It’s well made and very strong with two layers of pluckable foam, a lower layer of fitted foam and egg box foam in the lid. The foam plucks easily (I used matchsticks to mark the corners prior to plucking) but is strong enough not to separate in use. The two pluckable layers make it easy to vary the depth for various items, such as the XLR adapter and handle in the photo which only need the top layer plucked.I normally buy branded cases for camera equipment but thought I’d give this one a go for my new GH7 rig as it required a fairly large case which was going to cost the price of another lens! I’m not disappointed, however we’ll see how it performs in commercial use over the next few months. The only slightly negative observation is the case latches are very stiff, more so for closing than opening. I would have preferred the latches on the bottom section with a two stage operation, rather than on the lid in a single operation. Hopefully they will ease off over time, and better stiff than loose. The two handles are a nice touch, and the pull-along handle extends via a spring loaded mechanism by pinching two latches recessed into the case base. Fully retracted it acts as a handle on the top of the case, with no chance of it pulling out in use. The wheels are good quality and fitted using a nut and bolt with a spring clip to prevent them coming off, a fairly premium feature. They are also pretty quiet when pulling the case, unlike some.Overall I would recommend this case to protect expensive equipment, it may be Amazon Basics but there’s not much basic about it!
