Huge and well made
This was very tall, nicely made, and easy to assemble. The bottom and top has soft brown material so the cat can sit on top. My cat loves this texture of scratching post. Bonus, it was larger and cheaper than what I could get at the local pet store.

My gatos LOVE it!!
My kids rescued two kittens last summer that were abt a wk old and only weighed probably a pound each. A year later these cats are massive lol! We got them fixed they stay inside so I’ve been concerned about them getting the right amt of exercise & them clawing up my furniture bcz they’re trying to do something so natural to them I didn’t realize them scratching is really very important for them! It’s exercise, they’re actually marking their territory cats have sweat glands in their paws isn’t that cool!! They’re letting out stress or excitement or both. So after reading that our cats NEED to scratch Iooked all over PetSmart Petco Walmart etc and ended up w/ this scratchy post! It is a very nice size I was actuall VERY IMPRESSED . I sure didn’t think it would be THIS TALL , VERY STURDY , EASY TO PUT TOGETHER & ALL AROUND GREAT! Our cats can scratch it then jump on top of it & sit there on the top just relaxing! I’m very satisfied feel very safe and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something to help their cats get some emotional exercise lol!!!!

Overall really good scratcher
This is honestly a really good cat scratching post, I just have one complaint. It’s not very stable and can easily topple over if a cat tries to jump on top. I have found that sticking one side of it up under my bed where I have it keeps it from toppling over, but I wish it have a much heavier base to prevent this all together.That said, it is a great post! All of my cats love using the surface and they all love being able to perch on top of it! It gets heavy use daily and it’s held up pretty well. Sharp cat claws are obviously going to tear it up, but that’s the whole point of a scratching post! Let kitty destroy this instead of valuable furniture!I have found that the fabric can easily be replaced when destroyed with more sisal fabric or sisal rope. Both are relatively cheap and easy to find online.Would give 5 star, but not being very stable makes it a 4/5.

Cats love it
Both my cats love it , its great quality and easy set up! It is heavy, which is a good thing, cats cant knock it over

bigger than I expected (I did read the measurements just wasn’t really thinking I guess) but I love that, all my cats are obsessed and love to sit on the top and it’s large enough that my very long cat can stretch all the way out well scratching. It’s very sturdy too, it’s only been knocked over once during a very intense zoomy session when my one girl jumped up and launched herself off of the top. I’ve had it for a few months now and it still looks brand new you can’t even tell they scratch it and they use it multiple times a day

I’ve purchased 7 of these over the past few years since I find they last an average of 10 months or so before one gets demolished…I’ve included a before and after side by side picture with a couple of old ones that were on their way out. I’ve tried a number of others, including more expensive ones but my cat has voted these the best. Cats like to stretch when they scratch and this one is tall enough to accommodate that…not all of the others are. They also like to hug the post when they sharpen their claws and because this is cylindrical it works well on that count as well. It’s stable without being too heavy and has a reasonable price point. All in all, can’t be beat.
