I purchased this and put it on my 3 cats who unfortunately started to itch from fleas spreading. I bought this product, in hopes of getting rid of the infestation. Unfortunately, after putting this medication on my cats (as directed on the box), one of my cats was foaming from the mouth and looked like he was going to pass out and was panting. I had to rush him to the Emergency Vet at 9pm and stayed there until 2 am with a big medical bill. I The veterinarian advised me NOT USE this product or ANY product with âNATURAL OILSâ because cats skin are not meant to tolerate these oils. This could have possibly triggered the foaming in the mouth as a reaction. I also had to call poison control and was charged $85 just for that call. Luckily, the medical staff gave my cat a bath to get rid of the product from his first and checked all vitals. All in all, the veterinarian provided me with a prescription flea medication that was an oral pill to crush into wet food to give to my cat to get rid of the flea infestation. I was also advised to always buy branded names because they are specific to what the cats can tolerate and are built to digest appropriately in a safe manner.I will always pay what I need to when it comes to keeping my animals safe and healthy, so that is not the problem. The issue is that this could have easily been avoided by REMOVING THIS PRODUCT FROM AMAZON. This isnât fair for the animals or pet owners. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS!! Poison control was aware of this product, this says ALOT about this item.

It Seems to Work
The fleas around my area seem to have a resistance to Advantage, so I switched to these flea drops. My cat wrestled with me to put the treatment on her, but I managed to get the flea drops on her the best I could. My cat is like a little Tasmanian devil when the flea comb and topical flea treatments come out. She avoided me the rest of the day after that.The next day, I washed my sheets in the early morning, put them back on my bed, and went to sleep. My cat soon joined me. We slept for about 3 hours. When she got up, I noticed about 15 fleas on the spot she slept on. I’ve had fleas before, so I know they usually jump away or on me when touched, but these fleas seemed to be quite sluggish; they slowly crawled away but would not jump if I poked them. I sprayed my sheets with some furniture-safe flea spray and drowned any I had on my hands in a sink full of soapy water, just to be safe. I hope this is a good sign for things to come!

It Works Unlike Others
So I have been using all of the major brands for years while running a rescue for ferals. Only one really worked and then the formula must have been changed because 4 treatments over 2 months wasn’t even working. Amazon’s actually did it. Took care of a major flea problem quickly. It doesn’t seem to last a while month, but it is a good price point too. There is a side effect with hair loss in the spot it is placed on a number of my babies, but that goes away quickly.

Did the trick; cheap and safe
3 cats, 2 indoor/outdoor, 1 is indoor. Everyone was itching. Tried another brand of cat flea control that starts with an H rhymes with Farts. Had all 3 cats screaming in pain upon application.This stuff however, seemed to not bother anyone. Itching scratchies gone with a few days. Everyone happy. Would buy again.
