U Do Online Courses?
Bought this for performing, but seems like it going to function very well to participate in online courses and have sheet music, backing tracks and notes all right in front of me. Cool!It seems to be be very sturdy, very adjustable and holds my devices well. I have an 8th generation iPad and iPhone 15.I was careful to have one music stand leg projecting forward under the iPad for as much support as possible. Does not seem to be tippy at all, but the music stand is a heavy duty one. Not sure how a very lightweight or flimsy stand would do. This should work well on mic stands too.The holder does not extend excessively far away from the music stand, which enhances stability.Very pleased with this addition to my gig gear!

Very stable setup is tricky
I was very pleased with the price and the quality of this iPad holder. It has many different adjustments and many different angles you can use. The only thing that I have against it is setup time. The attaching piece that goes around your music stand is not quick. Some sort of ratchet or slide would be better. Itâs a threaded screw and it takes a long time to get it out to the point where you can get the clamp ðï¸ around your post, then a long time to screw it back in. The other adjustments work pretty well but when youâre first getting started it takes two hands to set this thing up.

Very Sturdy
Love this IPad holder, but I had to modify it to Hold my IPad Pro. I use my IPad in Landscape mode (sideways), so it didnât really fit. The side of my Ipad was too close to the mic pole, so I had to add an extension piece to solve the problem. I wonder if they make an extension or a version that accommodates the wider IPad Pro?

Sturdy, good variety
Iâm in a band playing live, and this iPad holder works perfectly for what I do. Itâs easy to move around if the lights are reflecting. I just leave it attached to my microphone stand and Iâm always good to go!

Good value mount
I use this to mount an iPad on a microphone stand. It clamps firmly to the stand and also has a good grip on the iPad (10.9â).The low price requires some concessions, however. The tablet clamps are not spring-loaded so to firmly hold the tablet, you have to make sure that 2 thumb-screws are tightened appropriately. The mount also only allows to swivel the tablet up and down as there is no ball joint. That is a bit limiting in some cases so be aware of that before ordering.I still give it 5 stars as it does everything it claims and that I need it to do.

Works great with a Lenovo Yoga tablet
The directions have you put the corners into the bracket, but my tablet has a battery on one side that makes it too thick. I am using the brackets along the top and bottom, not the corners and it is very sturdy and there’s no way it’s coming out without the screw being loosened. Fit great on a standard mic stand.

Kind of works – but the pieces that hold the tablet are poorly designed – you need the right tablet
This holds securely to vertical pipes. There are multiple adjustment points, allowing you to pivot and tilt a tablet to whatever angle and position you want, then tighten it to stay put. However, the piece that holds the tablet is supposed to be used only diagonally, on opposite corners, to prevent your tablet from sliding out. There are a couple of issues with this design. Some tablets have their buttons all on one side of the device, near the corners. If you donât want your device to slide right out of this, then it is going to be pressing or covering either the power button or the volume. Either way, your device isnât functional. Large tablets which may seem within the size range of this holder wonât fit, because the holder can only be used diagonally, and this holder doesnât open far enough to clear the corner of a large tablet so you can get it into the holder. If the plastic disc pieces were removable, even just one of them, you could do it. Yet another issue is that the design does not allow for much variation in device thickness. If you have any kind of case, and you should, youâll have to remove it. This leaves your device exposed to damage while in this holder. So, if something comes loose and it falls, too bad for you.Not to mention that some cases are, by design, not the easiest to remove (a case that accidentally comes off the device canât protect it). Again, making the plastic disks that hold the device removable could also allow a millimeter or two of adjustment in thickness, allowing you to keep the case on your device. You need to have a small or medium, thin tablet, with the right layout of buttons, without a cover/case, in order for this to be useful.

I have used other devices but recently decided to move to a 10″ Tablet as the program I use to use for scrolling and music is no longer supported. Most songs fit on a 10″ or with only a simple scroll apk for horizontal or vertical use. This product works flawlessly. You have to insure that you have it in the grips and tightened properly but it doesn’t come out if done correctly. It doesn’t impede the buttons on the tablet and is extremely versatile for positioning. The clamp to the post looked flimsy in the pictures but that is no concern as it is very sturdy and has not moved. I use mine as shown in pictures on the back of my guitar stand. I would recommend for the $30 cnd

I was surprised by how well built this tablet holder is. However, if you have a protective case (don’t we all?), this will likely not hold it properly (or at all) without a modification. Using a hacksaw, I cut off all 4 holders flush to the surface of the arm, added a spacer, and then secured it with a nut and bolt. It took me about 10 minutes, and now it works very very well. Worth the purchase if you can do the modification. But WHY OH WHY isn’t this designed to fit a tablet with a case?
