In the end, I decided to discard the pot, as it seemed impractical to risk further food wastage. This experience was quite disheartening, especially considering the initial purpose of the purchase was to economize.

Good for a few months
They are ceramic coated which means the non stick feature works well with pancakes bacon and eggs. After about 9 months they are beginning to show wear and tear but the color is cute and these are great for someone who just moved into their new place. Will need to replaced after probably a year.
