We donât have cable tv so this Amazon fire connection and controller work just great for us. We download apps we enjoy like PBS and YouTube and a few others that we watch regularly. We bought this one to replace one previous purchased that stopped working suddenly after 4 years. Cheaper than monthly cable bills and works for our tv viewing needs.

Not as advertised
Our condo is changing TV carriers and instead of our TV coming through a cable it will be via Wi-Fi. The signal will come in the form of an app similar to Hulu or Peacock etc. Some brands of TV will not allow our carrier’s app to download from their store. Therefore, we have to purchase a Roku or Amazon Fire Stick. I purchased three of this product for three TVs in one of our condos. Our new carrier informed us that the Fire Stick LITE would not work, get any other model. Nowhere in the copy for these was the word LITE found. But in installing one it was in fact a LITE and would not work. Several others and I had to return this product for a refund and re-order the proper item.
The Amazon rep I called did an excellent job getting mine returned and getting my refund, but I should not have had to go through all that.

Good item, dislike the remote
The firestick works great. The set up was really easy. This isnt my first firestick so i knew exactly what apps i wanted and had them installed and organized quickely.
Hate the app buttons on the bottom of the hd remote. They are accidentally pressed all the time and it exits out what ever you are doing without any secondary prompt.
For $35 its good but i think if i need to get another id get the 4k one just to avoid this remote.

Amazon has get tech support and they are good with us who might be computer challenged. They would have helped me out if I could not have done it.
