I felt the essential oil compartment was not important and I rather use a diffuser or warmer. I dusted real good and ran this 24 hrs straight. No dust shows on the glass coffee table or tv stand. I am a happy consumer! Over a month in continuous use now. No dust on the glass for 5 days! What was on the glass was very hard to recognize without sunlight. It is great not having to dust as often but even greater not having to rub my itchy eyes or sneeze. I have it on my tv cabinet and I noticed the build up of dust behind the tv and electronics is gone!
