I bought this cat scratcher box as it seemed like a good way to contain the torn off pieces of cardboard which get thrown off when she scratches. I don’t know why, but she prefers to just sit in this container and never uses it to scratch in? She will sit and snooze in this box for hours contentedly and it has become one of her favorite places to catnap! Cats are just so unpredictable! A good value for whatever your cat uses it for!

I was too late ordering this to stop my cat from turning an upholstered chair from âchicâ to âshabby chicâ, but unlike the expensive, upright rope tree style scratching post she declined to use after she pulled it over while scratching, she loves these cardboard things. I didnât give it a 5 because they shred during scratching and are somewhat messy, but as long as they save my furniture, I am satisfied. She is a somewhat larger cat and can comfortably stand with her entire body on these to facilitate use. It comes with a box in which I placed one scratching thing and that helps contain shreds so I will try to find another box that fits. I put one in bedroom and one in living room by the chair she formerly scratched. There are 5 sturdy cardboard scratchers and I expect they will last a long time. Good price for the product, given her total attention to it rather than furniture now. Oh, and she started using it almost immediately.

I bought this scratcher in a box for my 6 cats. It comes with a box and 5 replaceable double-sided inserts, soaked in something smelly for cats. For several days after buying this box there is a fight, but not for the scratching point, but for sleeping in this box. Everyone wants to sleep in it, they kick each other out, but no one sharpens their claws… Only one cat sharpens her claws, the rest just sleep. I am thinking of buying another such box as a bed.
