These two items are my go tos for my golden doodle.
The brush is good sturdy quality, teeth are long enough to really get down to the undercoat that likes to mat. It smooths out the tangles, and is so easy to use. It’s very easy to clean the hair out of the brush as well.The works well to pick at particularly bad knots, and to check for hidden Matt’s. It is hard metal and doesn’t give so you feel it when it finds a mat.I highly recommend this set.

I have a goldendoodle with semi-curly hair this brush works wonders! I love the comb for longer sections of hair such as her tail and nose. After using the brush and comb our doodles hair is beautiful and fluffy. The brush also gets a lot of grass, branches and other random stuff out of her hair.

I recently got a long-haired double-coat puppy and despite my best attempts (brushing him every day), I kept finding terrible matts buried deeper down in his fur. I took him in to the groomer and asked what she thought the best brush would be. She showed me her slicker brush and stainless steel comb and told me to use the slicker brush to clear matts and then use the comb (and to use the slicker brush again if any matts showed up when combing). I’d always thought the slicker brushes looked too sharp but she assured me that it was fine – she even dragged it across my skin and it seemed alright. I was delighted to find the two items bundled together by this seller and I actually got it for a great price. I wasn’t aware of it being a sale price but I paid half the current listed price. Anyway, I haven’t really been able to test this combination out yet as my puppy got a close trim this time and his fur hasn’t grown out yet. I’ll update my review if there are any issues but I think if this is what the professionals use, it should work.
