I have two dogs – one 50 pounds and one 25 pounds. This backseat cover/extender was a perfect solution for a 14 hour road trip. It fits in my Ford Fusion perfectly and provided a sort of âshelf/bucketâ for the dogs where they felt secure enough to nap.Some things to note:-the material is slippery, so I recommend putting your dogs bed or a blanket down. My dogs slipped a lot until we did this. The materials wipes clean easily though.-you canât really tell here, but it has side panels too, which can be harnessed to the handles of your carâs interior ceiling. This was great and helped keep the dogs contained when we opened the doors.-it has velcro openings for seatbeltsOverall, I would 10/10 recommend this product. My larger dogs hates feeling unsteady and even gets car sick sometimes but this (with her bed and a blanket) made it the easiest road trip weâve ever had. Plenty of space for both dogs.

Bought this product six months ago to accommodate our large 115 lb. dog in back seat of our pickup truck. The seat extender is sturdy and fits the vehicle well, providing solid support and is stable. It is easy to remove and put back in when necessary and saves on seatwear and tear. The extender is durable, as it was in great perfect shape after six months of constant use (I take the dog everywhere) however somehow one of the attachment clips broke. These things happen and not sure what could better substitute for the plastic clips. I contacted the vendor with the intent of getting the necessary part to fix the problem as I could not locate a clip the same size locally. This would have involved removing the stitching to remove the clip and then have the strap re-stitched after putting a new clip on. Without asking, the folks at ROUWINNE immediately sent me an email indicting they were shipping a new cover! Absolutely recommend both the product and the company.

First of all the sides of the cover are not hard sided like the pictures of the product make it appear to be. They are still the leather like material, but they zip up and are held up by the âholy crapâ handles. They do slightly collapse a little either inward or outward depending on position.I have small dogs that tend to jump/fall off of my rear seats during travel. This purchase seemed like a must to prevent that from happening. It is strong enough that the bottom board does not bend down when in use. (Tested that out myself by hopping a bit on it when I first installed it) Oh and bonus! I have a dog that gets car sick. This is very easy to hose down. You do have to be careful about the Velcro slots that are for the seatbelt. Potential leakage spot there. To counter that from happening and prevent my fur children from burning themselves on the hot PU Leather surface, I do have a large reusable leak proof dog pee pad on top.Quick install that stores easily when folded up in its convenient carrier case in the trunk or back seat of a vehicle. It does fit in my tiny trunk space in the truck bed of my Hyundai Santa Cruz. I would recommend this product.

Once I had it installed, my husband attempted to put his seat back where it was and to do so, it had to squish that hard bottom in a bit, which I’m not happy about. And my husband is 5 foot 10 inches, so anyone taller and needing the seat back even further will have more of an issue. This is the ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. BUT if that won’t be your problem, there are no more complaints and do buy!!! I LOVE the zip up sides which will help better keep my blind 18 year old dog from falling out ANYWHERE. I LOVE the adjustable straps which had SO MUCH adjustment room that there’s no way it wouldn’t fit ANY truck. I LOVE the see through mesh area so both us and the dogs can see each other and feel connected. I LOVE the hard bottom to make it sturdier for their legs while moving. And everything is just good quality material! This is just the best! We are still keeping this item even with the bit if the width issue, because it’s not THAT bad and still doable.

I was hesitant to purchase any kind of back seat extender because my vehicle has captain seats in the middle row, and I didn’t really want my pup all the way in the back, but I saw another purchaser who was in the same situation, and their positive experience was what pushed me to go ahead with the purchase. Very happy that I did! It fits perfectly and the center plate is large enough to not bend between the two seats (my biggest concern). My pup is about 47lbs, so it’s sturdy enough for him to feel secure, and he is able to lay down comfortably. Very satisfied with the results – purchase came with a bag to store and everything that was supposed to be included was in the package – it came sealed and fast. Only time and usage will tell how long before wear, and tear will start to show itself, but it looks to be built with good quality, so not too worried.

This is an excellent product, well made, although the plastic buckles are a little flimsy. I like the hard bottom and the mesh that keeps my dogs head out of the front seat. It fits my Subaru Forester perfectly.. The package arrived quickly. I deducted two stars because the straps to attach the side panels were missing This is a feature I really wanted as the side panels are meant to protect the side doors. The straps to attach the side panels to the ceiling were missing from the package and so I tried to contact the manufacturer, to no avail.UPDATE: I was impatient, I actually received a response to my email in 2 days, and the missing straps were mailed to me immediately. So in fact, customer service was responsive to what was clearly just an error. I installed the straps, and I am completely happy with the product. It is study, and the side flaps are protecting my car doors from muddy footprints. Consequently, I have changed my rating to 5 stars.

The build is good. Please air it before using it for your dog as the smell can be quite strong. But the total area is too big for a Tesla model 3. You will eventually have one side being lifted and not resting on the seat, but rather having the edge resting on the backrest of the back seat. Not so ideal if you want to prevent indenting your Tesla leather.
