She likes it!
I know it seems silly to pay for a cardboard box that will be delivered in a cardboard box for free, but the depth of cardboard appears to be comforting to my cat and she gets excited when I change the bottom padding. Very easy assembly. Sturdy and cat scratch friendly. It keeps my cat cozy and warm so I think itâs worth the money, but itâs a little on the small size.

These are actually not bad
I thought these were going to be worse than what arrived, I was expecting the Dollar Store quality. Since it was a SUPER price for all of them I thought they would be very cheaply made. But that is not the case. They are not super massively stiff, but they do have a nice stiffness to them, they don’t shed right away I am still on my first one since the 9th of this month and my kitty loves to scratch these all day long. So not bad, they will last longer than I thought and you get a lot of them too, can’t beat that.

Smaller than expected but still a great value!
These scratch pads are about half the thickness of the ones I usually buy, and they’re a little smaller in overall size. I had bought them to refill one of the shelves on a cat tree and they’re about 2″ shorter in length than what was there previously, so there’s a gap, which I filled with pieces of cardboard from a box.That being said… they are sturdy enough and they do the trick, they provide a surface for cats to scratch on… and the price is right, works out to $2.50 each which is half the price of the ones I used to buy. So, make sure you read the small print and know the size before you buy. Good value overall!

Excellent product
Cat’s love them! Doesn’t fall apart as quickly as others we’ve tried. When one sides torn up, shake it over the trash & flip it over for another round.

They don’t come with boxes to put them in!
Normally these come inside of a box and when one side gets scratched up badly you flip them over. These didn’t come with any boxes not even one! They are misleading because the outsides of the longer ends are a white color with a pattern, making you think in the pictures that that’s the box they usually come in. They came with catnip that I didn’t use since they didn’t have a box to contain what would fall through. I didn’t want it to fall out and get on my carpet, then have my cat go bonkers scratching that up. They are also smaller and not as heavy duty as the other kinds I’ve had. I could have dealt with that for the price if they came in boxes. My cat still uses them, so they weren’t a total waste of money. But I will not buy these again.

My cats are obsessed
My cats love anything they can sink their claws into without getting yelled at and these do just that. I recently punched a house and got new furniture for the home and didn’t want them messing it up, so I ordered a set of these and put one next to each pieace of new furniture and surprising they haven’t even tried to scratch on the furniture. I love that they are double sided, so once one side wears down u can just flip it over and the cats think it’s a new one, it comes with little bag of catnip but didn’t even need it, as soon as I opened them and put them on the floor away they went to scratching! Thank you for saving my new furniture! These will definitely be a repeat purchase for sure

Read carefully, but great value for money!
We own a large, 9 lbs, 7 year old female cat and bought an 8-pack of these about 6 months ago. She loves them and uses them constantly (like, ALOT). We use about one a month, and gave one to our daughter, who’s two cats also love them (so I am ordering more after writing this review). Let me tell you the negatives first, and then explain why they don’t matter. These are thinner (1 inch vs 1.5-2 inch typically used by other brands), about an inch smaller on all sides than your typical brands, they don’t come with a “box” to use them in, and the cardboard they use is slightly softer than some brands use. Now at first you might be tempted to dismiss this product because you think this is a negative review. It’s not and you SHOULD buy these, they are a good value. Here’s why – the thinner size doesn’t matter because the cats are only scratching as deep as their claws (and our cat hasn’t come even close to clawing thru one of these, even though she’s pretty aggressive on these and we flip them to use both sides before replacing them). The smaller dimensions and no box are not an issue because we just throw ours right on the floor as is – our cat sits on it (as if it were in a box) and uses it just fine. We had cut the bottom off of the shipping box to use with the pad the first time, but our cat couldn’t have cared less and it was a pain to get the used pad out to replace it, so now we don’t bother with it. (Honestly, I doubt your cat will care if there’s a box or not, either.) The slightly softer cardboard these are made of (compared to the brand we were using before) means our cat uses one of these a month instead of one every two months; but the other brand was $15 for ONE (with a cute box to hold it) and these pads come in an 8-pack for $20. (You do the math!) One little side note… each pad comes with a tiny little packet of catnip (it’s just a pinch worth).

I sweep up her mess and by the time I’ve put the broom away she’s made another mess!I’m not sure if there’s something in the cardboard but she is determined to actually destroy the box not just scratch the bottom like usual.
