I’ve purchased water feeders before that leaked everywhere and didn’t function well. This works great! I love the shallow bowl because if my dog gets it a little dirty, I can tip it so that clean water rushes out just enough to clear away crumbs (this water feeder is on our porch).We have a malamute, and it lasts him a few days depending on how much he goes outside. In the summer, he doesn’t go out long. About 10 minutes at a time before he gives up and runs for the a/c. In fall, winter, and early spring, we beg him to stay indoors. So, definitely assess your dog’s personal need by season.A huge time saver. Worth the investment. Doesn’t topple over. Sturdy.

Gravity Fed Automatic Pet Water Dispenser
This gravity fed water dispenser is made from non toxic, BPA free, food grade plastic & holds approximately 7 liters of water. The unit is very well made & measures about 14″ front to back & 7″ wide. The cylindrical portion of the base is very sturdy & extends upward about 9″ to hold a heavy-duty, sturdy, clear water reservoir. A stainless steel bowl slides into the base & extends under the reservoir. The reservoir is easy to fill & securely closes with a screw top that has a pressure valve. When filled the reservoir is easily inserted into the cylindrical portion of the base which holds it upright securely. When the reservoir is inverted into the base, the pressure valve pushes against the stainless container which in turn releases the water into the bowl. The stainless bowl is approximately 1-1/2″ deep. Overall I’m very happy with this unit. The only drawback is it is somewhat difficult to determine exactly how much water is left in the reservoir when the water level drops below the 9″ cylindrical portion of the base. However the reservoir can be lifted easily to see how much water is left. Two different brushes are also included to clean the reservoir, bowl & base.

Somewhat fragile.
Mine arrived with one of the plastic tabs that holds the “Shroud” (the black plastic ring which holds the bottle) broken. The first time I tried lowering the bottle in, it slipped and broke off the rest of the tabs. I reattached it with some black gorilla tape and it works OK, you just have to be careful lowering the bottle into place. I truly like the design of the cap and it is easy to clean, it just requires care when inserting a full bottle.

Nice automatic waterer for small-to-medium dogs.
I ordered this for my German shepherd dog who drinks a lot of water so I end up filling up his large water bowl several times a day. I thought this might work for him but he doesnât like it. The water bowl is very shallow so he has a hard time drinking from it. But my small dog likes it so itâs his new water bowl. Itâs easy to fill up and replace without splashing water everywhere. It stays clean. Nice product at a reasonable price.

I got this to use when we go away for the weekend. It holds so much water! It was very easy to put together and use. In came with 2 scrub brushes to help cleaning it which I appreciate. It was a little tricky to scrub the inside of the big tank, but still worth it. Is also like the stainless steel drinking bowel.
