UPDATE 2): Unfortunately this stuff didn’t stick to the problem areas on the couch that the cats like scratching. I think it’s just bc of how strongly my cats scratch in those particular spots. The adhesive just had no chance of sticking lol. It is still stuck to the smaller spots that the cats don’t scratch as aggressively though. BUT.. yeah. Just be aware that for heavily scratched spots, this stuff may not stick well enough.UPDATE: It’s been a few days since putting this stuff on our couch. It’s holding up ok. It needs to be stickier though. I guess our cats are just really aggressive scratchers bc there are sections that need to be restuck on to the couch. Overall they’re holding up though and the cats don’t like them as much as the couch, but they are still clawing on them. Will update again after a while if I remember.Got this for our leather/faux leather couch bc our cats are using it for a scratching post.This stuff was easy to cut and stick to the problem spots. It’s not the prettiest or anything, but neither were all of the claw marks.Not sure how well or long it will last, but we’ll find out and I’ll be back to update the review.Until then though.Easy to cut to the right shape. Easy to stick and the stickiness is enough to stick, but not too much that you can’t move it around if you need to. No idea if it will leave residue, but that’s not really a concern right now.

It works! Very adhesive on top of Anti-Scratch furniture protector sheets!
I donât normally write reviews but felt compelled to share that I am a fan of this product. It works! I hust applied it to the ends of my sofas so weâll see when the cats scratch but for now I love it. I will say I applied it on top of clear Anti-scratch furniture protector sheets that I bought off Amazon. So I can only speak on it working like this.
