The best I could have asked for given the price
For right around $70 I couldnât really ask for better. The volume is quite low the cats werenât a big fan of the extra noise but it didnât freak them out. Came with 2 pet brushes that work decent enough, one of them squeaks when you press the fur release but it doesnât effect the function. The clippers work well enough, the only complaint is not being able to turn them off when attached to the vacuum hose other than turning off the vacuum itself. Good enough for me not to have to drive over an hour to the closest groomer I can find that will wash and shave my 12 year old ornery long haired cat on a weekend.

Everyone needs one of these!
I didn’t go with the best, I wanted to see how it worked first. Not sure how long they will last, be it its starting to not wanting to cut or leaving strips behind after the third use. The blade is actually hard plastic…. BUT if you have a dog that has hair that needs to be cut often, what a game changer for the wallet. It is so clean and easy. Not sure why hair stylists have not done this to there clippers. The suction helps pull hair into the blade. And if you have a dog that sheds that short wirey hair omg!!! So worth it… So for the purpose of it I’d give it 5 stars. For the actual machine itself… 3 stars for the plastic blades that are not going to cut anymore in the near future. It can still be used to pick up small messes too!!.. so there’s that.. if your checking it out because your contemplating buying one…then YES do it and spend the extra mula and get a good one. Pay attention to what the blades are made out of, if it will tell you…. good luck! Doodle mom

I bought this for my foster dogs. Since some of them are kind of timid, taking them to the groomer is out of the question. I must admit that I had no idea what I was doing. Thankfully, it is very user friendly and mess free. It sucks up the fur as you cut it. I also use it on my short haired dog who doesn’t need her fur trimmed. With the brush attachment, it is super easy to deal with the shedding hair. Everything comes in a nice case so you can keep up with all of the attachments as well as protect it from damage.

I have a standard poodle whoâs hair was so long and matted and I was so happy to get this even my 12 year old was to cut the dogs hair as well

It’s loud.
I know it states for dogs…. but I was truly hoping this would be alright for cats as well. About once or twice a month we have to give our cats a sanitary shave and I wanted to make it less… “furry”. I also thought brushing them with the vacuum especially our thicker furred cat might feel good for her since she attracts every piece of lint and dirt on her fur but alias the noise was just too much for them. I tried, I really gave it a sincere effort. Now I asked my neighbor with an American Pitbull if she wanted to give it ago… and I gave her a breakdown of all the components and she used half of these tools to completely trim her dog’s fur. The noise wasn’t a bother for her and the nail trimmer worked just fine. Her older pitbull liked the combing part… so all-in-all this set is a complete success as far as dog grooming goes. Probably not so much for cats. You live and learn.
