I’d never seen these before until last week; my daughter’s boyfriend had a similar one lying on the table. What a neat little gadget! These are so versatile, and PERFECT for autistic kids. My grandson loves it, he uses it all over. His head, face, neck, his arms, his back, inside his mouth-yeah I shut that down real quick. And he loves it even more when I use it to scratch his back. Dogs and cats? At first they were like what the heck is that….then they fell in love with it within seconds. Perfect also if you have shoulder issues and can’t reach your back to scratch easily (I’ve been using my scissors). It’s a gentle scratch, and it works. It’s perfect directly on skin, through a tshirt, was still ok with a tshirt and flannel on as well.I almost didn’t get this one with some of the reviews saying when they opened it to full length, it was flimsy and what not. Granted, I haven’t tested every one in the pack, but so far 4 out of the 6 have been 100% fine. They don’t feel flimsy at all, quite the opposite. I don’t know the inches it opens up to, but it opens up pretty long. And, this 6 pack was cheaper than other options I saw, and they all look the same. They are made of metal, aluminum or stainless steel, not sure and they’re lightweight. Great gift idea as well as keeping them stashed around in various places as needed-like reading glasses.

I like these back scratchers. The small collapsed size makes them easy to have around w/o getting in the way. when telescoped, there long enough to reach everywhere on my back.I did take one star off due to longevity. These are replacements for some I got about a year ago. one fell apart after about 6 months, and one more just started collapsing when you push it to scratch your back. considering the cost, I don’t consider this a big deal, but others might.

(Too long for a shirt pocket.)– You can put it inside your shirt behind your neck AND THEN extend and retract it. So it won’t attract attention when, e.g., you are using it at church.– You can use TWO of them to reach things in stores that are WAY BACK on a shelf…. I bought this second pack so I could have TWO in my car to reach 2 liter soda bottles STACKED 6 DEEP at various grocery stores I frequent.Although I still had 5 others from the other set, I would routinely forget to bring an extra one when shopping. It’s a lot easier reaching things with 2 of these than just one.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I got these back scratchers, they are so nice. I was only expecting to get ONE back scratcher so I was excited to see that there was 6 of them in the package and all different colours. They are very sturdy and you can adjust them quickly to the length you want. When it is at its longest I was expecting the scratcher to be wobbly but it still is very sturdy and stable. The claw is not sharp so you can press hard when scratching. My husband was so happy to have his own scratcher as I gifted the black one to him. He is using it constantly now and loves it. I chose the pink one for myself and have the green one for us to use when we are outside on the deck. We are both senior citizens with stiff arms and suffering from itchy backs for some reason and now we don’t have to ask the other one to do the scratching as we have lots of them to do the job for us.
