I studied carefully at all the options before pulling the trigger on these lights. My big questions when buying LED is are they bright enough and is the white option correct. These lights are perfect in both areas. Very bright and multiple Kelvin options for white, plus nearly infinite options for other colors. The installation instructions are somewhat limited, but they a breeze to put in. They connect directly to your 120v a/c circuit and can be wired in series. You will need a dedicated switch to be in the on position (you have to switch them on and off to put in program mode to activate.). If you don’t have an available switch, you can always put a remote switch in the circuit for less than $20. I was so impressed, I bought another set. There is nothing special about buying different quantities, so if you anticipate the need, go for the quantity discount. Very user friendly app and easy interface with Alexa. Very nice product.

Easy install, great value
Purchased to install in recently remodeled fitness room. They were super easy to install, have multiple settings of brightness and works with a dimmer switch. They all worked flawlessly the price is cheap for this product. The comparable ones I purchased at lowes for clients on renovation jobs cost 25$ each! I got them on sale for like 35$ for 6 of them and they are equal quality to the ones I got from lowes.

Very good quality, smooth and even light
I decided to replace the incandescent recessed lights with retrofits that fit into the cans. Unfortunately the light wasnât very even and they didnât dim smoothly or to a very low level. So I thought I would try the Cloudy Bay lights and boy am I glad I did! It was a bit of work to remove the old cans and wire in the Cloudy Bay lights, but they are so much better quality than the previous ones I had in there. They give a very nice even light and they dim very smoothly from 100% down to 26% with the dimmer Iâm using. I also like the fact that inside each control box there are push to connect wire connectors already installed, which saves time and hassle during installation.

12/12 worked, 1 lost wifi capabilities after 4 weeks
I do love these lights, I am remodeling my house and the just white ones are half the cost so I use those where It makes sense but they also don’t have wifi capabilities. These are just as bright when white and can be controlled to do what ever you’d like. Install is pretty easy with the push lock style connectors in the junction box. If you need to remove any wires from the push lock, hold the wire steady and twist the connector clockwise and counterclockwise and it’ll come out easily. App works well most of the time, sometimes a light will take a second to change colors or turn on via wifi control, likely an issue with slow internet. I’ve emailed the company about the failed light without any response yet(4weeks waiting now). Contrary to my thoughts when it stopped reacting to app commands, it’s not the junction box but the light itself. Side effect was it just reacted to the light switch like a normal light, no app control at all. Would buy again. Also, great for only fan nudes and foot pics, really sets the mood!

I’ll start off on a good note.We purchased these lights in the Fall of 2020 and had an electrician install 12 of them throughout or family room, eat-in space, and kitchen.They worked well for 3 years and we were happy with the look and the lighting.The company and box claim they last 22 years.After only 3 years, we now have 3 of the 12 lights out.Since I was happy with them, I purchased another set thinking we could just plug the light into the wired box in the ceiling. Like changing a light bulb.So I went onto amazon and purchased the exact same item from my previous order history.Well I was surprised to find that even though they are the same item, the cable is slightly too large to fit into the existing box!I searched for a customer service phone number without any luck.I emailed support through their website a week ago and have not received a response.I emailed them again directly from my email account, and still no response.TLDR; Lights go to crap after 3 years and you cannot buy replacements. Company ignores requests for help and does not have a phone number.
