Very nice set with multiple functions
I ordered this set because I wanted to try new styling techniques and equipment and it has just about everything I wanted (I wish it had a diffuser, though). It comes nicely packed in a large box appropriate for gifting, and it has a magnetic catch, so it is easy to open. Each piece has its own place and is easily accessible. A heat-resistant glove, comb, and four clips are under the main part of the box.I am used to a standard pistol-type dryer, so it took a little bit to get used to this style, but once I did it was easy to hold and use. The attachments come off and on easily with a twist-lock function. The buttons were easy to operate and worked fine. Both buttons provided a cold-shot function, as indicated in the instructions. The instructions are clear and include a quick-use card and an operation manual.The dryer heats very quickly and blows strongly. Each heat and speed setting is separate and distinctive. The brush attachments work as they should. I had never used a Coanda-type curling rod before, so that took a little learning, but it is really neat how it works.The one thing I noticed was when I use the dryer, my bathroom lights flicker. This has never happened with any of my hair appliances before. I checked power use with a meter, and it showed it draws around 385 watts in heating mode 1 (cold shot uses about 64 watts). In comparison, my old hair dryer only uses about 147 watts in high heating mode (less than half of the WindBlow dryer use). So I guess the compactness of this device makes it use more power as it has to do the same amount of heating and air flow with smaller components. Just FYI!I lost count of the ions at 3.2 million, so I will assume all 500 million are there (j/k). 😉 I think the price is a bit high, but haven’t bought a hair dryer/attachments in many years, so could be a bit antiquated in my thinking. Overall, this set is pretty neat and does a nice job.

It’s the negative ions y’all, I’m tellin ya!
So far everything seems to work great. I just wish it came with some kind of case to keep everything in. Well, it doesn’t help much for traveling, but the box that it comes in is actually good for storing everything at home. Because you know how most boxes have a flap that opens on the side and then the contents will all be on a sort of tray that you slide out? Well, the box for this has a magnetic flap across the front of it, so you can open the entire box like a briefcase with very little effort, instantly giving access to everything inside of it. I know it’s not an actual case for everything but I suppose it will do.Anyway, it’s not easy recommending one of these, because there are just so many others like it that are almost identical to it, that I could never say for sure if there’s anything out there that’s better or not. But I will say that whatever you do eventually decide on, try and make sure it has the negative ion feature. Especially if you haven’t used anything like this with it yet.I WAS going to recommend the ELLA BELLA version of this, because it comes with a case! And it’s like the only one that I’ve seen to come with a case. It has an extra attachment too. It costs fifty more dollars than this one, but for me? I will always gladly pay more for something if it has a case. Unfortunately though, I noticed that the ELLA BELLA styler was almost a year old now. Well, they do have their champagne color that came out in October I believe. However, the main thing is that the ELLA BELLA styler and everything that comes with it, weighs nearly 6 pounds! Yeah, it comes with the extra attachment and the case, but unless they both have a combined weight of 2 pounds, then their styler weighs a good bit more than this one. This here styler and everything that comes with it, weighs nearly 4 pounds. Or to be more precise, it weighs 3.9 pounds, almost exactly 2 pounds less than the ELLA BELLA set does (5.89 pounds).And so, I would definitely recommend this hair styling set by WindBlow, to anyone who is considering getting it. Also, to the makers of this, y’all should show how the flip-top box opens as a feature. Because most people can’t easily find a place to keep and store everything that comes with a set like this. And while this doesn’t come with a case, that is probably the next best thing.
