I held off many times because of the price tag.Like most people I wanted a Shark or a Dyson. When the Dyson did not even have very great reviews I was even more reluctant to get one.Last week my Mescomb arrived. I used it before my weekend away.Then I used it again during my weekend away at a resort (celebrating my 28th wedding anniversary).I fell in love with this tool! I was in awe!!!My hair was dry, but I wanted more volume and added curls with the airwand. It was so easy and went so fast.I can actually have gorgeous curls without that nasty curling iron smell!!! You know that weird smell you get because your hair simply gets too hot? It is also a bit annoying cause your whole room will smell like it.It took me a bit to get used to the airwrap system, but once I figured it out, it was super easy!I have been trying my best to treat my hair better than when in my 20’s!So getting a good quality hair styling tool was very important. I wish I had bought it sooner!My hair dried/was styled in half the time. And I did not even need to have it on the highest heat setting. My curls also stayed better and did not look oily when I was finished. Guess I will never use that heat curling iron ever again.Speed? Yes, it is fast! It gets a little loud at the highest setting. But it works very well on the 2nd setting on my hair and is not loud.Durability… it feels high quality materials were used. It is not light in the hand, but also not so heavy that you get arm fatigue.I think this dryer should last me at least a year.If it then breaks down for what I paid I think $11 a month is not too bad.When it does need to be replaced I will for sure get this one again. Maybe by that time it will come with a carry case. (Yes please!!!) This set looks so nice, it needs a carry case. Now the bristles might bend out of shape.Pretty soon I will be going to the Netherlands for 2 weeks. Let’s find out how it will transform and keep my hair styled there. More humidity there than here in So-Cal.I am a mixed girl. Asian, south American.My hair loves to be curly and also likes to be straight. I tend to have many fly aways!
