Decent value your money, but they wonât last very long
The glasses are decent quality for the money. The styling is nice. The frame size is def more for a guy, which is what I wanted. The problem is even though theyâre inexpensive ; after several uses the screws holding the arms in place start unscrewing. Itâs a hassle, but I would purchase them again, because theyâre good to have laying around when you need a decent cheap pair, and you donât have to worry about the cost if you lose them.

Getting isn’t as bad as some may think, but having had good vision my entire life, it was a big adjustment when I started squinting at the page and the computer around the time I turned 50. Because my distance vision is still fine, I don’t have prescription glasses, although my optometrist (a doctor I never saw until last year) prescribed some custom readers with fancy frames, blue light filters, and some type of “fine tuning” for my particular vision.Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of experience not losing glasses, and my kids laugh at me when I put them on a chain around my neck–so I’m constantly misplacing the “official” readers, and finally lost them completely a month ago. That started me looking for cheap replacements, as I’ve decided the following:1) Once the reading vision goes, you want several pairs of readers lying around the house. A couple in the office, one by the bed, one in the kitchen, and one in every frequently used bathroom (at least if you’re like me and get your best reading done in there). The perfect prescription is no match for “something close”, and convenience.2) Those “bifocal” or “automatically adjusting” readers that let you read the page in front of you, but also see farther away without the disruption of the magnification don’t really work. I tried them first, thinking I’d just keep them on all day long (take that, kids!), or at least throughout the work day. But they really didn’t work well for either reading OR regular viewing.3) You don’t want the cheapest readers out there (blue light filters and clear lenses are nice), but you shouldn’t spend a fortune (see #1…you want to have plenty of spares).These are a great compromise of all of the above. 4 pairs at a reasonable price, different colors that look reasonable (or, according to my kids, at least one pair “looks ok” on me), and great clarity and light filtering. They’re honestly about as good as my custom prescription glasses, at least as far as I can tell.Highly recommended…these fit my “sweet spot” for readers in looks, quality, and value.

Good….but flawed
The thing that attracted me to this brand was there was a solid nose ridge – in that, I could flip them up onto my head and my hair wouldn’t get tangled into the nose piece. Which works perfect for me….but the screws fall out or break FAR too easy….only lasted a couple months for 5 pairs of glasses

Cheap Plastic doesn’t hold the hinge pin
The lenses are clear and I found them comfortable too. I found a great deal, but one pair (black in color) broke pretty quickly. Now, I’m worried about the other 3.I only wore the glasses a couple dozen times. Only had them for 2 weeks and only use them at night because I have prescription glasses that are my main glasses.The hinge on the bottom broke off because it is a thin piece of plastic and cannot handle much stress from the metal hinge pin at all. There isn’t any metal in the hinge (other than the pin), but not expected for the price either…The plastic isn’t strong enough to hold up very long. I have Costco readers that hold up much longer. I also bought anther brand on Amazon that I love…I bought these because they looked identical, but $5 cheaper for 4…Well, I guess you know the sayings… 😉
