Perfect small day pack
I was looking for a high visibility pack for fall hiking. The bright orange is perfect. The pack has a nice lot of pockets – three external, one internal – in a good assortment of sizes, from small for a wallet or keys, to large enough to hold a light windbreaker. There’s a good amount of space in the main pack. I’m not sure I could get it folded back into its carry pouch (which becomes the inside pocket) but I don’t think I’d ever need to. The fabric is lightweight and I doubt it would be waterproof, but I had it stuffed to the max the first time I used it and the seams and zippers showed no sign of stress. The only thing I wish it had that’s missing is a key holder.

I bought the tropical color one for day trips. I’m glad I did. It’s lightweight, durable and a good size. It is great to take on vacation if you need to carry around sunscreen, water and some snacks. Would recommend.

A step up
I have other packable (extra) backpacks to toss in a bag for those instances where you may need âmoreâ. Most bags of this type are really lightweight, Iâve split a few seams and theyâre usually not water resistant. This bag is sturdier, water resistant & folds into its own pouch but its fabric is tougher, like a legit regular pack! Stuffing it back into the pouch is tricky & a little difficult (hence the 4-stars) Iâve got a bit of arthritis in the thumb of my dominant hand so it was tough but doable. There are pockets, (slightly) padded shoulder straps & even a chest strap. The color is vibrant and there are quite a few to choose from. I bought this for an Alaskan cruise, I think it will be perfect!

I never review items but this backpack is the best! It’s lightweight, very sturdy, has multiple zippered pockets even a water proof pocket for wet items. The shoulder straps are padded & very comfortable, with quick release buckles. It’s a great buy for the price.

Recently purchased it for my Alaskan Cruise and used it throughout the cruise; either on the ship in itself; hiking and walking and found it to be durable and enough room for a wallet; phone; snacks; personal items and lots more; it never felt heavy with any of the contents I carried.
