It does the job for now
It holds 2 comforters. Once you get them in you need to sit and lay to get all the air out. It takes a minute with really bulky items. The second zipper is holding on to Dear life but we will see how long it last. I do really lIke that it is a square shape unlike the plastic ones that are long. This fits nicely in my closet. I would definitely get a bigger size for comforters.

Pretty good for bulky bedding
These type of “compression” bags are pretty good for holding bulky items like comforters that can be a challenge to keep in a smaller area. Unlike the plastic vacuum bags, these won’t damage the loft of your synthetic comforters or the feathers from down.They are made of a soft, slick unframed fabric so they don’t really hold a nice neat shape. They can look more like a s’more if you really stuff them full. They can be equally as unruly if they are underfilled. In either case, they do not stack particularly well.I do not like that they do not have a window for seeing what is inside of them. Or anywhere to label them as to what their contents are.I thought for sure I was going to damage the zipper or catch some of the material in it while trying to zip it closed but it worked ok.I want to like these compression bags but I think there is room for improvement. I think I much prefer to store my comforters in the clear plastic zip up bag that they came in, for now. I’m not a fan of plastic so I thought these bags would be great but I do not like that they are so soft sided & don’t have a window.

If you have a ton of bedding, this XL bag may be for you – there’s a lot of room! So far I have a very thick layered queen comforter, a large fleece blanket, and a king size quilted comforter inside it with plans to add more things once they’re washed. There is plenty of room for more. I need to make sure I have the space once it’s completely full. I ordered another one, so depending on my closet space, I might make both into their smaller versions for storage and add my other items to the other bag. The compression aspect seems to come from the hole on the backside of the bag where you press out the air. However, there’s nothing special about the opening – no mesh, unlike the product description. The hole looks like it will let air in just as much as it will let air out. The zippers can catch on the fabric when not pulled taut, but no issues with them otherwise. I wish there was a window to see what’s inside, or somewhere to label the contents. Still, happy to have a bag large enough for all the bedding that was piling up in my closet.

I couldnât get it as compressed as Iâd like but I couldnât put the pressure on it to push the air out. I still like it.

I wish someone had told me
that the larger size could hold a small country! I haven’t been able to fill it up yet and I wish I had not bought the biggest one. If I could return it I would. It also seems quite flimsy.

Large expandable bag, so/so when it comes to collapsing bedding.
The bag is large and does expand. The zippers are not high quality, and the stitching is not the best. However, it does hold the bedding well and I was able to put 3 large plush blankets and three pillows in the bag and squish it down. It measured 15 in x 19 1/2 in x 20 inches. It is not waterproof/resistant, but it will keep your bedding clean.

Mainstream Sellout –
This ‘self-compressive’ organizer for bedding and the like is pretty good, depending on your needs and preferences. Admittedly, I was expecting it to be cheaply made and prone to busting/ripping when I first looked at it, but it has proven to actually be pretty well-constructed and damage-resistant. It can hold a reasonably large quantity of linens – though it requires some effort to get XL items like a duvet in it, and even then, thicker duvets likely wouldn’t fit, as it doesn’t have any stretch to it. It does compress in the sense that it doesn’t stretch, and it packs down a bit with the compression zippers, but it isn’t as effective as vacuum compression bags. It also has no form to it which makes it a bit of a pain to efficiently fill it. The material is smooth and silk-like, which I appreciate as it is easy to wipe off and doesn’t attract or show much dust and lint.

This is so handy for storing extra bedding. It’s HUGE! I loaded it up with about 4 sets of king size sheets and pillow cases, 4 duvet covers and a queen size weighted blanket. Not only did it hold everything but there’s still room for more! The handles feel durable and strong. The zipper glides along with no problem. It even looks nice in my closet. I’m very pleased with this!
