Good for fine fur
One of my cats has long hair and doesn’t keep it very well groomed. This has helped some when she lets me use it. She isn’t happy about the comb but the brush is okay. I really like the way the hair comes off of it. It is easy to clean it quickly so I can keep brushing. If I take too long she tends to want to stop getting brushed. They are moderately sturdy – not real heavy duty.

Good for pets that have matting hair
I got this to use for my bunnies. And although the main brush part works on my bunnies with thicker hair it doesn’t do well with fine long haired rabbits. However the comb at the bottom works great for them and their undercoats that tend to get matted and are the hardest to detangle.the main brush part is easy to remove hair from when you click the button which is nice. Light weight and good size handle.

This brush is great because it can do both of the types of brushing that are needed for your cat. The only improvement is that with the hair release button, it doesn’t fully push the hair past the end of the bristles, which takes the convenience away from the feature in the first place as that makes it take longer to remove the hair from the brush.

Good for combing tangled fur
Review of cat brush and comb from GooCare The brush is a pretty standard wire brush with a button to push the fur off of the bristles. It comes with a small comb. So what makes it different from a lot of other cat grooming items on Amazon?* Comb & brush fit together for easy storage. The comb only fits in when the teeth are perpendicular to the brush bristles (the brush bristles face one way and the teeth of the comb face to the side). The comb sort of snaps in place so it doesn’t fall out. It requires minimal effort to remove the comb.* Brush head is a good size. If it were too much larger, you’d end up not brushing the cat with all of it at once. Since cats have some small spots to brush, I don’t like my cat brushes to be much larger than this. It’s already too big for me to be comfortable brushing a cat face with it.* The comb has very small, short teeth. It’s almost to the point where I’d say they’re useless. What I like using it for is removing what I call “cat wads.” We have two overweight cats that don’t groom themselves well. They end up with wads of greasy, matted cat fur towards their tails. I’ve been having luck removing the cat wads with this comb. I can only get about one cat wad on the comb at a time because the teeth are so small. I’ll still reach for this comb in the future when I need to deal with more wads, though, because it gives me more control over removing the mat than a large brush does. As a Vine reviewer, I can get free cat brushes almost any time I want as long as I’m reviewing them thoroughly. There’s only so many brushes our cats need, though. I didn’t think I needed any more brushes, but this one caught my eye with the removable comb. I wanted to see how the comb would work. While it’s difficult to get much fur off with the comb before cleaning it, I’ve decided that I really like it for tangles. I’m satisfied with this set, especially because the price of the comb and brush together are similar to what I’ve paid for a brush alone.

Deshedder not meant for long-haired cats
I have a few of these cat brushes with release buttons now, but this one was unique in having a deshedder with it. The design was thought out well because the deshedder collapses into the brush to make it truly a 2-in-1 instead of having two separate tools taking up space. While the brush works as intended, the deshedder really is meant for short-haired cats. The comb is way too shallow to do anything for long-haired cats.

Good cay brush
Pretty basic cat brush except that it has a desheding tool that inserts to the bottom of the brush for easier storage and less bulk. It also has a loop on the end for hanging and a push button to help remove the cat hair easier.

Great for long haired kitties
This little guy works great for brushing longer fur. My kitten absolutely loves it. Itâs very soothing and massaging and makes it easy to remove all that extra fur. Iâm not sure how sturdy it really is or how long it will last, but itâs a good value and worth trying out.

This brush is worth it if your pet has long hair, it’s especially handy when clearing the loose hair in the bristles with a quick press on the cleaning button which allows you to continue grooming without missing a beat, just be sure to have a waste basket nearby for all the removed hair. The bristles are firm yet soft enough so that my cat doesn’t mind too much when I brush him. I have a Main Coon which is constantly getting debris from outside stuck in his tail, he tolerates me to brush his tail and body long enough to remove. I recommend this product.
