Newly Minted Math Nerd –
Welcome addition to my foster cat tool kit
I foster multiple cats each year and each of them come with their own unique challenges. Interestingly, as many have been kept in cages for weeks before getting to me, they often have trouble at first figuring out how to get up on beds, furniture, etc. Usually the younger ones adapt quite quickly, but of course I also have senior cats occasionally who have hip or other issues and just can’t jump. But they want – no NEED – to snuggle up on the bed, and I need that too! These stairs are a good way to ease the cats into multilevel living. The 4-step version was just the right height for my bed, but be sure to take measurements before you order so you’ll get the right height for your intended use. Plan to let this “puff up” for about three days after receiving so it will reach its full potential – the vacuum packing really does a number on the size and shape but is understandably necessary for easy shipping given the final size.

4.5 stars as looks like the picture etc.
Received the stairs quickly. Went for the 4 step and while it does the job as described, I might have wanted a slightly taller set of stairs. That said, it is as described and works for our dog.

More like a rolling hill than step
I got this for our new puppy and our small poodle. First thing I noticed is a when you push the steps to a sofa there is a huge curve / gap so it doesnât actual fit flat up against the sofa which is odd. Second itâs all foam so itâs more like a rolling hill than actual stairs so since there is so appreciable landing my dog falls back or slips a lot. I would prefer traditional steps buts thatâs is for my use. You may find these good for your animal.

Injured dog needs help getting on bed âthis helped!
We have two dogs, one much larger than the other, and a few days ago, I heard the little one hope while playing with her sister. After that, she couldnât jump up on the bed without help. We ordered these dog stairs, and she figured out how to use them right away. It does take over a day for them to fully expand, as they are made of foam and rolled quite flat, but they are usable even after a couple of hours. BTW, our little dog is on the mend, but I think sheâs taken to these stairs, so weâll leave them out for the time being. I feel confident they can be rolled up nearly as small as when they arrived if we need to store them.

A bit lumpy
Iâve had these steps 24 hours and theyâre still a bit lumpy and wonky looking. Hopefully they continue to expand and fluff up.

excellent for small, senior dogs
the stairs came in an air-sealed package, meaning it wasn’t too bulky to carry inside off the porch. it took an hour or so to fully inflate and become sturdy enough for my dog to use, but it’s been incredibly helpful for her to get up and down the bed safely. with her entering her senior years, i’m becoming more and more mindful about stress on her hindlegs, so i want to discourage her from jumping up and down high surfaces. this staircase is a must buy for any pet owner who wants their pets to comfortably and safely join them in high beds/couches with ease.

Geriatric Cat Loves It!
My geriatric cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) cat has always had problems navigating this world. He also thinks he is king of the cat condo. Going up the cat condo is fine, it’s going down where he needs help.I’xve tried several steps and he’d rather tumble to the floor than try to navigate steps. After unpacking these steps and letting them inflate, my old guy is using them! The good: No assembly, arrives vacuum packed. Just open. The bad: I thought they’d be bigger, but they’re still slowly inflating. The ugly: Not a thing.Would I buy? Absolutely! Anything that helps my CH boy get around is a valuable purchase.
