Amazing wallet
This item was everything I expected for the color and style. The quality of the item is amazing and the amount of cards it can hold definitely lives up to its reputation also love the wood color on it and it’s definitely small enough to where I dont even notice it compared to having a bulky wallet so fits just right and it’s comfortable enough to take everywhere! Itâs a bit fiddly at first
Initially I am impressed by the simple design and execution. Itâs very slick. I got the ocean, which is carbon fiber with the blue flecks of aluminum. That brings me to my only criticism. The blue is tiny bits, not the same as the black carbon fiber shreds which are larger. It looks kind of like it was sprinkled with blue salt. Itâs not a deal breaker, but itâs not what the picture looks like either. I donât intend to return it over that but I knocked off a star. Represent.As far as functionality, I am adapting to the daily usage. It disappears in the pocket which is nice. I really like the cash strap which I didnât think I would. It came with the money clip included which I thought I would prefer, but after using it both ways I removed the clip. Btw, you can use both simultaneously, something I never saw in the advertisements. It adds to the bulk a good deal tho.Overall, Iâd recommend the Ridge to anyone who wants to try to streamline their edc. Itâs a bit pricey, but it is excellent design. For me that takes a lot of the sting out of it. I donât mind paying a premium for premium design. I still get a little flustered whenever I have to dig around to find my drivers license, but I think thatâs just a matter of getting used to the thing. Itâs small, which is a good thing, but my fingers sometimes donât work like they should when Iâm holding a small smooth item. Iâm sure Iâll adapt.I like the way the elastic holds everything together with the ideal amount of tension. That aspect of the design is very well tuned. Itâs a good secure hold but still easy to operate. I am not worried about anything accidentally falling out. I find myself carrying eight or nine cards, what with all the necessary ids, permits, atms etc. There is definitely more capacity should one need it.I am not really sure how much I need the RFID protection, but itâs good to know itâs there anyway.
