I have a husky mix. Long hair and very thick. With the correct comb, it easily cut his undercoat. I live in Florida. Cut his fur down to about an inch. He looks and feels better and is easier to bathe.

These are pretty good clippers. They are not as loud as some Iâve had and my dogs donât mind the sound as much. They do a decent job on my German shepherds.I really like the cordless part, no worries about the cord getting in the way. The charge lasts a very long time.

These clippers are the first set that does not terrorize my cat. The sound when they are on at the lowest setting doesnât scare my cat at all. Instead she just gets irritated like she is being brushed. The only big negative is that, even at the highest setting, the blades cut poorly and unevenly. My cat is a ragdoll so her hair is very long and dense. These clippers did not work well on her at all.

these are hands down the most silent clippers we own. They have a long battery life and I have only had to recharge it twice since owning it. and even then, I only charged it as a preventative. it has never died on me. granted, i only use it once every 4 weeks. but still. those sessions can get long. that being said, it does seem to struggle a lot with longer coats. I have to do several passes, which can be a bit tedious.
