Great for single females in an apartment
I adore my Ring doorbell! I live alone in an apartment, and I appreciate that it notifies me anytime someone is walking by. This feature can be turned off, but I like it. Also, lots of cute preset “away” messages if someone rings it and you don’t answer. The video quality is 10/10, the sound quality is easy to hear, and the motion detectors can be adjusted in terms of sensitivity. So far, I’ve had it mounted to my door for a month and the battery is still going strong. Lots of features and high quality materials.

Instructions
Forget their Instructions that come in the box. They are useless. Just go on to u tube and it is vary simple to set up .Nice camera and many nice extras. Works really good and fun to mess with. I have this and blink cameras.I did it this way because if one is down the other one picks up the servalance. I know this costs more per month. But I have good coverage of my house and deliveries.

Nice looking easy online setup
This is nice looking and easy set up. Had a ring doorbell already. This is a newer version. The online set up was very easy. However, reason for less stars is whoever thought it was a good idea to move the two screws for the wired doorbell to the actual doorbell instead of leaving on the back plate needs to be fired! Can not even hook them up because there is t enough room and mine did not come with the extended wires as mentioned in the set up video. The view is far superior to the old version and much clearer. However, If the older version was available in bronze I would return this one. Otherwise works as described.

I recently upgraded to the all-new Ring Battery Doorbell, and Iâm impressed with the improvements. The head-to-toe video resolution is excellent, providing a clear view of visitors. Excellent doorbell camera
Doorbell has been installed for nearly a month and is still on the first charge. Extremely easy to install and works excellently with Alexa. Design is good quality though the unit is rather large. Night vision is clear. I bought the plug in chime, but this is not necessary if you connect to Alexa.

Easy Install and Wide Range of Sight
This is my 1st Ring Doorbell, it was super easy to install and set up and I was surprised how much this model actually shows, it’s the newest model for 2024 and you can see everything and even zoom in. I love it and the Black Friday price was unbeatable. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great Doorbell, but new version much harder to re-charge than original
My original Ring Doorbell (purchased 3/19) died, and this one was pretty affordable so I just ordered it. Itâs terrific, and the picture is much improved.Iâm taking off a star because, apparently in an effort to make the construction cheaper, they changed the design in a way that will make re-charging a PITA. On the original, the connections for a wired doorbell were on the wall bracket (along with electronic components), so to take the unit off to charge (Iâve had to do it about 2x per year) you just popped it off, super easy.On the new unit, the wall bracket is just a piece of plastic (no electronics), and you need to screw the wired doorbell wires directly to the doorbell. Not a huge deal to set up, but it means that every time I need to take the doorbell off to charge it (the charging port is on the back), Iâll need to unscrew the wires (and then re-attach them). This will make the re-charging process a fair bit more cumbersome.That said, I like the doorbell and the ring app is well designed and easy to use. I just wish they hadnât designed in a re-charging hassle in an effort to save a bit of $$.

Great unit with a decent picture and plenty of setting adjustments to make it right for you. I do prefer the removable battery model, which is so convenient to recharge. I keep a second battery charged so there is virtually no down time and itâs a two minute job to change. As well. with a Ring solar charger, the battery changes only happen in winter for me as the sun is not on the doorbell then.I have a Basic subscription for the doorbell but I think the fact that if I wanted to add a home camera to the system Iâd have to pay 3 times the cost for a Ring Plus subscription is simply outrageous. Iâve just got some TP-Link Tapo internal cameras instead, which I can view live and they have SD card for recording.

Have had a Laser doorbell cam for a few years but seemed laggy, so bought the Ring battery doorbell. I’m blown away! Different greeting messages, package tracking to alert delivery, set up in seconds, on my Alexa too. Simple instructions and I was able to drill the bricks to fit it without any help. As it’s day 1 I can only comment on the ease of set up, but looking forward to it’s operation being good too .
