The pups love this bed. It’s chilly here in Colorado and running the heater all the time is expensive so heated blankets and beds are clutch. They love this. It’s become their favorite bed. It doesn’t get too hot but keeps them super warm.

Works great and energy efficient
We have a Sphinx cat (hairless type). They are always cold. She is always looking for the warm spots in the house – heat registers, sunlight, etc. Now she has a 4th spot to go to.She immediately liked it when I brought her over to it. She just sat in it and started purring. It looks very nice wherever we place it because of the neutral gray color. The material is very soft to the touch. The actual heating element can be easily zipped in and out for cleaning the bed.The bed is also very energy efficient. I put a wattmeter on the unit and measured energy usage for a 24-hour period. As the photo shows, it only used .13 kilowatt hours of energy. That works out to only 1 kilowatt of energy per week. I pay about 15 cents/kWh for my electricity so that works out to about 60 cents/month. The unit only turns on when the temperature of the bed drops below 86 degrees. For reference purposes, we keep our house at 70 degrees from 8 in the morning to 10 at night.Overall, I’m very pleased with this warming bed. The cat likes it and it costs almost nothing to run. Definitely recommended.My rating method:1 star – terrible. I wouldn’t consider buying it.2 stars – marginal at best. Doesn’t meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars – average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. My cat really likes this bed! It only gets warm when the cat lies on it. It provides constant warmth, making it the perfect sanctuary for my furry friend. It makes their winter experience so much better!

The dog is happy but where’s the on/off button??
This bed looks and feels exactly like my dogs other puffy, soft, “anxiety” beds with one exception: there is a zipper on the bottom that allows you to insert the thin heating pad (gray picture) on top of the pillow (white picture). It’s that easy. It doesn’t get scorching hot, just mildly warm. But as you can see from the picture, my dog is happy with it. I dropped one star because there is no on/off switch. The only option is to either plug it in and it’s always on, or unplug it and it’s off. While that may not bother others, night time is when my dog gets cold and because the outlet near our bed is behind a dresser, I cannot use this bed in my dogs normal night time spot which defeats the purpose. I’m curious why anyone would create an electronic device without an accessible on/off button??

Overall, this is a good heated cat bed.My senior cat likes to find warm places, especially on colder days. This bed is great for warming up. It’s a good size for my cat, and she curls up in this using the “walls” along the outside edge. The heating element cycles on and off to maintain a temperature, and never got too hot for me to touch when I tested it. Its also got a thick cord which is shielded in case your pet has ideas about chewing through it.My cat is happy with this.

Not bad
The quality of this pet bed is pretty good. The only reason that I took a star off is because it is a bit thick, so the heating pad is not really felt through the bed itself. I know because I sat on it myself for a while, to make sure that it was going to be safe for my cats.While it did get warm, it wasn’t too warm. My cats are older, in their senior years, and they like it really really hot. So for them, this isn’t as hot as they would normally like it. Are they using it? Yes. Is it as hot as they would like it? Probably not. They actually moved it on their own over next to the baseboard heating, so that it could be warmer. I originally placed it in next to the ottoman, that was in front of the sofa, but when I woke up the next morning, it was over in next to the baseboard heating, and they were sleeping on it.Nice and soft, and the pocket for the heating pad is nice, so you can take it out and wash the bed itself when the pets inevitably make a mess of it.

I ordered this Heated Cat Bed for Indoor Cats – Fluffy 23 Inch Donut Pet Bed with Removable Heating Pad for Cats & Small Dogs, Ideal for Year Round Comfort for my fur babies because I have a cat who loves being outside. He sometimes will drag himself home after I’ve gone to bed, and I worry about the fall and winter cold for him. He has an outside cat house that is in the garage that he’ll sleep in once he comes home after his galivanting nights, so I placed this donut bed inside his house. He loves it!!. He took to it immediately. I plugged it in, and it slowly got warm, but the heat does not go up to the top of the donut. My cat was ok just sleeping on the donut bed, but this is supposed to be a heated cat bed. I left it plugged in for an hour to observed if the warmth reached the cat, but it didn’t. I do not recommend this “heated” cat bed.â¤ï¸.
