Hauling a bunch of lightweight stuff. And some not so light. It is made from what appears to be a heavy duty tent-like material. So think tent. Pretty durable but! Easily cut so be careful and this awesome bag should take care of you for years to come. The zipper seems to be of good quality but due to the lightness of the bag it requires 2 hands No big deal really. It does compact down further than the bag it folds into. I stowed it folded in the bag and folded it in half again. Did I get more space? No. maybe thatâs what needed to happen to make everything fit. The shoulder straps arenât very padded so donât plan on carrying anything with weight for very long. It wasnât so bad with about ten pounds of stuff in the bag. I like that they decided to make every feature happen on this bag including side bottle holders and a chest strap. The reflective strips were a nice touch. Finally a good pack able bag!!! And itâs so roomy!

Best thing since ever!
I just love love this backpack! I put the gum next to it for size comparison, and the good news is, I can actually fold It up in a breeze and make to full size for my next adventure! I originally bought this a year and a half ago for my trip to Israel, it is so lightweight, it weighs like nothing, and it holds everything, everything. I use this now as my carry-on for the plane because it holds a ton more than any carry on ever could. This Venture Pal has no weight or shape to it on its own, it is just ready to be filled to the brim with everything you need for an adventure! Has held up great, the price is fabulous..5 stars!

Great for Travel
I used this for an international trip. It is lightweight and folds into itself for easy packing. It has some pockets on the inside that are nice but kind of unstructured, so I’m not sure how helpful it is to have them at all. It is very roomy and worked well for my purposes.

excellent as a convertible bicycling bag
I bought this bag to use primarily as a bike trunk carried on my bike racks. Why not just buy a trunk intended for a bike? Because I use my bikes for many activities other than racing: exercise, amusement, grocery shopping, general transportation. I need to be able to dismount, lock up, and carry my bag into the woods, the store, my friends’ houses. Most bike trunks are ‘way over-built and unnecessarily heavy with padding and frames; they NEVER have straps that let you carry the bag as a backpack. And you can’t do even a little bit of grocery shopping with a normal bike trunk; I want to be able to buy a week’s worth of salad greens and other veggies and then wear the pack on my back so that they don’t get squished. So I’ve been using backpacks as bike trunks for many years. Light, compact, comfortable backpack!
This backpack got me through a fairly intense hiking around Phoenix, AZ. I carried it on my back for about 12 hours one day, and I have to say it was pretty darn comfortable. Carried like 5 powerade bottles, a spare water bottle, a camera, pants, and a hoodie, with plenty of room to spare. I probably would’ve been weighed down before it got overburdened. It has a pretty thin profile too, which was helpful when my back was against a steep wall. I liked the mesh pockets on either side; I just kept switching out powerade bottles. The backpack felt really secure with the check strap buckled. It never really got in my way or felt loose other than when I had my body tilted at an angle and it started to slide, but even then it only budged a bit and didn’t change my weight too much.The fact that it easily folds up into its own pocket was very useful, as I only took a “personal item” sized bag with me on this trip and it didn’t take up much room within.There are a few tears that did develop at the bottom due to the real rough ordeal I put it through, so we’ll see how that lifetime warranty is. I’ll probably update and add or subtract a star based on how that’s handled. Overall I’m pretty happy with this thing though!Update: The company promptly responded to my inquiry about the lifetime warranty and I was able to order a free replacement. It should be here in a couple days and I foresee no issues with it so I’m bumping my rating up to 5 stars for the service. I’ll of course update if anything goes amiss.

wow très surpris du logements que se sac apporte.quand j’ai reçu le sac je me suis dit ouf pas vrais tout petit mais quand j’ai commencer a mettre des objet dedans j’ai dit yesssss il a pris tout se que je lui donnais le seul défaut que je pourrais lui donner est les bretelle n’ont pas une très grande épaisseur de mousse.

Je cherchais un sac a dos capable de tenir peu de place dans un bagage cabine. Une fois plié, le sac a dos est a peine plus grand que la main, et une fois déplié il propose une bonne capacité de rangement notamment de par la bonne profondeur du sac. Malgré sa légèreté les sangles et coutures semblent relativement robustes. Ajouté à cela diverses poches de rangements pratiques et on obtient un sac vraiment génial, je recommande !
