Reviewing: Safety 1st Connected Under Crib…etc.
Safety 1st Connected Under Crib…etc. I ordered this light to set up in my bedroom – I often get to bed after my wife is sleeping, and I wanted a motion sensor light with adjustable color and brightness to light my way around the room. Although this does all of those things, it came up a little short in a few areas.Pros:1. Has adjustable brightness2. Has variable color options3. Motion-activated4. Smartphone control “option”Cons:1. Maximum brightness isn’t very impressive2. Fairly limited color options3. Motion activation requires close proximity to the sensor4. Smartphone control is not truly optional. It requires you to download an app (no big deal), but in order to use the app you need to create an account and then find the product on a long list of products that the company offers. Getting the app set up is involved enough that I wouldn’t have bothered with it, except that it is required in order to choose any color aside from warm white, as well as to make any other changes (brightness, sensitivity, etc.).Conclusion: This is an okay light, but the fact is, there are other options available on Amazon that are half the price, half the hassle, and are of comparable value.

Incredible Idea
This is the greatest idea ever and I cant believe it took this long for someone to come up with it. I love having the gentle light in our nursery be under the crib because it allows me to see just enough but does not wake my baby at all because its not at their eye level. This is very easy to install and use and is also a great statement piece when showing off our nursery.

Works well
Does what it’s meant to but feel it’s overpriced. Looking back could’ve just bought small motion sensing lights with adhesive backing. I don’t really use the app but did download and set it up to try it.

Mostly functional through app
I have had this light for months but I was never able to connect it to my wifi until I recently replaced my router. Hot tip: When the blue page says searching, tap the screen until you get a red circle. THEN it is sctually searching. I feel like a dummy. Now that I am able to connect it to the app, the functionality is MUCH better. You can set the motion detection and light brightness. It’s great! Without the app though, it’s a mystery if the motion detection is on or not. It is perfect for my 4 year old for when he gets out of bed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. It doesn’t wake his younger brother. Highly reccomend and now I want another!

App Required for Full Functionality
If you’re in search of a customizable under-the-bed light, this device could be a suitable option for you. While the light offers ample visibility in dark rooms without being too bright, it requires you to download an app, which might be frustrating for some. The night light option can be turned on and off with a button on the device, but to change the color or brightness, you need the app. On the bright side, you can choose from a range of colors and brightness options.If you’re already using the Safety First brand for your monitor, using the app may not be a big deal. However, if you’re not keen on downloading another app, this device may not be the best option for you. In general, this under-the-bed light is customizable and provides ample visibility, but the app requirement may be a dealbreaker for some users.

Great motion light for CRIB/baby bed
First of all, Iâm not sure why people are down-rating this when they are using it for things other than a baby bed motion light. Thatâs not exactly fair. This light works VERY WELL for what itâs intended. I do agree that it would be nice to have another way to operate it other than the app or to have it always on, but once you do set it up on the app, it works great. It has a wired piece that needs to go into the crib (or bassinet in our case) to pickup babyâs movements, which it does. It does also pick up your movement if youâre walking by, but the light isnât so bright that it will wake up baby either. I also got the SafetyFirst baby cam so that I could use one app.Very good product!

I purchased this for under my daughter’s crib, the crib is too low so the light didn’t really show. My fiance put it on the front of the crib and it works quite well just not as bright as I pictured.The app was extremely difficult to pair to the light. We did eventually figure it out though lol. I would put 5 stars if not for the app.
