Good value for a starter ruck
I bought this to make sure I actually liked rucking before buying a $200 Go Ruck. I bought this and a 30lb weight plate from Yes For All. I’ve probably rucked about 50 miles with it and it’s held up fine but the straps dig into my shoulders a bit. I can’t pick it up by the top handle with the weight in it as it feels too weak. I use the laptop compartment to put the ruck plate in. It’s also just a great backpack, lots of pockets and even has a rain cover. This is a good bag for the price.

My wife says I am a bag hoarder. I simply have different bags to carry different items. My main bag is my work bag. This bag fits the ideal purpose criteria for my needs. Iâve carried smaller and larger, along and packs, but they were always lacking in size and features. This allows me to carry my work necessities and lunch with me each day. The straps adjust well and the main compartment is large. The front zippered compartment hold my pocket notebooks and extra pens. Behind that is a pocket to hold a passport sized item. I like the fact it has a stored rain cover for inclement days. The two water bottle pockets on the side stores a bottle and packable umbrella very nicely. Great bag and looks well made.While I donât think there are many cons to this bag, there are some suggestions Iâd like to make. For a bag this size I donât think the waist belt is needed for load bearing or at least add a pocket on each side to store them when not needed. Another internal pocket in the main compartment would be helpful for smaller items that need to be secured such as wallet, passport etc.The pros are this is a great work bag or under seat bag for travel. If you store a laptop or workpad in the bag, Iâd put it in a neoprene cover before putting it in the bag for shock resistance. The small top zippered compartment holds my first aid kit that I travel with. Over all this is an outstanding bag and I recommend it for daily carry.

there are plenty of pockets and it’s big. the only thing that disappointed me was that it didn’t come with a power bank built in. the straps are very comfortable and the zippers are sturdy. are far as style it’s a hiking bag if that’s what you are looking for. overall worth the cost.

For an EDC or go bag, this pack is amazing for the price. It’s a good size, and is constructed well. It’s very comfortable to wear and has ample padding on the shoulder straps and back. The zippers and the webbing feel high quality.The main compartment can fit a decent amount of stuff, and has a laptop compartment that will fit a tablet or smaller sized laptop. The front compartment is subdivided in a way that makes it easy to store various tools and other items. And the top compartment allows for quick and easy access to smaller items like keys, cash, etc.I feel this pack compares favorably to other bags that are 5 times the price. If you’re looking for a great bag to carry every day, you’d be hard pressed to do better at this price point.

Good pack, decent quality. It’s not ‘heavy duty’. About the same as any backpack you can buy in any store. The shoulder straps are cushioned and comfortable. I use mine for rucking and carry an extra 30lbs when I walk. Ive used it daily for about a month and so far no issues

I donât think it is made in the USA which is what I originally wanted but it does look like pretty good quality. I beat the s*** out of it hiking this past week and it held up great and its double straps made a huge difference. Very light weight and the perfect amount and structure of pockets. Very comfortable.

As someone who has used gear extensively, I was expecting a less inferior product compared to the higher priced items Iâve used. This was just supposed to be a go-bag for my emergency supply. However, after going thru and testing this bag it is now my daily carry. I am extremely surprised at how well it is made. The stitching is well done, the material is solid, the zippers arenât cheapâ¦etc. Nothing about this bag says $30. Itâs made as well as my $120 bags. Very solid, well constructed bag. If youâre on the fence, take it from someone whoâs sat on the side of a mountain in some questionable placesâ¦get this one.
