I grew up when power tools and toolboxes were metal, and have not enjoyed a lot of the modern-day plastic versions. But so far these plastic units have held up really well. Recently I got a Craftsman Versa-Stack toolbox, and have been adding compatible additional boxes. This two drawer storage unit is excellent, the drawer lock is super handy, and the drawers slide very smoothly on the metal rails. Highly recommended.

Iâve had a Craftsman set for 40+ years. I started out looking for a better way to organize my tools. I saw this new set that has all of the tools easily stored and sorted. I bought this tool box and added two additional drawers. Itâs rugged, compact and contains organized tools guaranteed for life! Great purchase and fantastic value for the money!!

I bought this to literally top off my VersaStak set. I wanted drawers that could hold my most used screwdrivers and wrenches–still deciding exactly what will go in there. So far, they work great. The outer shell is solid. I have no concerns about the durability of the case. The drawers have a smooth glide, a dependable latch, and decent depth. They also remove as easily as a desk drawer, if you want to take them out completely for customization. They have removable parallel and perpendicular slats that give you options for dividing up the drawer space.Overall, I am pleased. I am waiting to see how well the drawers hold up. The plastic on the bottom is thin. Should be fine, but I wish it was a little sturdier. The case is also pretty bulky, relative to the storage space in the drawers. I suppose that’s the tradeoff of using plastic VS metal–more material has to be used for structure, so you sacrifice cubic space.It’s not a bad price, but I would be a lot more excited about it if I could have found a sale. I have compared a lot of these stackable systems–probably every major brand available. This one seems to be the best bang for your buck. If you’re a more serious contractor, consider Craftsman’s next level up from this set. Like I said, I’ve compared them all and seen them all in-person. In my opinion, Craftsman is the best value, and also pretty dang sturdy and customizable. Harbor Freight has a good set, but they don’t have a segment with drawers, and the price overall isn’t that far off.

Handy and Sturdy
I had lots of small machinist type tools in a dresser drawer and it was just before failing. Two of these worked fine for my purposes and saved my replacing a piece of furniture.
