Fantastic!
I’ve been looking at automatic feeders for ages and never wanted to pull the trigger. They’re usually very expensive and have reviews that are all over the place. This one is not expensive at all. It paid for itself in one work trip because I saved on pet sitting. It is fantastic!! The voice feature allows you to quickly get your pet acclimated. My cat responded to my voice from the very first try, and was instantly trained. The app is easy to use, and setting up all functions is easy. I read someone’s review that said they use it sometimes when they’re laying in bed and don’t feel like getting up and trust me, it’s a dream come true! I travel for work and when I’m away, it’s fantastic. And it gives me feedback so I know it worked. It’s great because I can feed her manually with the app or set the timer. It’s a little larger than I think I needed but it’s fine. I also like that plugged in, but has backup batteries. I bought the one without the stainless steel tray at first, but returned it and got the one with the tray. It’s much better to take that part in and out for cleaning, than removing the underneath tray.And stainless is better than the plastic. It is definitely worth buying!!

Does the trick
It holds a lot of food, can be set up for any time and a small or larger amount of food per your animal’s needs! The button to give extra food having to hit the lock key first and then dispense the extra is a plus so your animal cant feed itself whenever they want lol. Have used it strictly on batteries and it’s going strong for 2 months!

Great choice
Having an app to program the feeder is awesome! The camera is high resolution, but you cannot see the food bowl. Programming a schedule was tricky as the default is “once” and not “daily”. I forgot it had a camera when I was setting up the app — it provided a QR code but did t say what to do with it. Well, you put your phone in front of the feeder’s camera. Every cat feeder needs an app! The camera is a nice bonus.

Works well, but not if you have a determined little demon
Overall I liked the product, but a few disclaimers for those thinking of buying this product:1) Portion sizes are really small. 1 portion is like 4 kibble. I also think this is dependent on the size of the kibble. The smaller the pieces, the more that comes out. The maximum portion is 12, so I recommend estimating a normal feed is at the bare minimum a 4 or 5.2) The chute where the food is dispensed is wide open, and my little demon has figured out she can fit her paw up there to fish out more food. I tried rigging various doors to stop her from getting her paw up there, but overall it was a lot cause. She destroyed every method I could think of, and then managed to absolutely decimate the little silicone paddle things that would turn to dispense the food, rendering the feeder absolutely useless. It didn’t even survive a full year. So now I have to buy a new feeder with more durable inner workings.3) Getting it connected to the wifi was a bit of a frustrating experience. I recommend having it almost on top of your router when you first try to connect it. But once I got it to connect, no issues.Overall, this is a fairly convenient auto feeder. I do wish it had a feature that warns you when the feeder is getting low, but it’s not a necessary feature. If your cat is not an absolutely food obsessed little monster, this should work fine for you. But if your cat is anything like mine, they will find a way to destroy it in less than a year.
