Great value, easy setup
Very easy to setup. Nice packable size and weight. Good coverage over your hunting area.I was out in moderate to heavy at times rain with a light wind and this held up great. I can tell it will not stand up to strong gusts but it is an umbrella, not a semi-permanent structure! This was perfect for keeping the rain out of my face and my gear reasonably covered. Would definitely recommend for the price.

Easy to use and very effective.
Staying dry in foul weather makes all the difference. I’ve had many successful days with this over my head.

Poor Quality and Missing parts
Iâve owned at least a half dozen hunting umbrellas over the past 30+ years. Some sold by this company (Allen), and also some other brands. I âassumeâ theyâre all made by one company and marketed under different names. Regardless of that, theyâve all been flimsy, finicky devices at best. Theyâre made using lightweight materials (by design), and they definitely wonât stand up to heavy rain, wet snow, or moderate to high winds. However, if you hunt from a tree stand, ladder stand (or even on the ground), these umbrellas are an essential piece of equipment. My new umbrella arrived missing three of the six straps used to secure it to the tree. I should have received a short, medium, and long strap for each side of the umbrella. I only received straps for one side, which makes the umbrella 100% useless. Fortunately, I have some leftover straps from an older (failed) umbrella, so Iâll be able to use those in the future. The umbrella mounting bracket was also problem. The mounting disc/grip stripped the threads on the screw shaft the first time I tried to use it. Couldnât screw it completely into the tree, couldnât screw it back out of the tree. Useless. Of course, all this happened in the woods, in the rain! Shame on me for not doing a proper inventory and testing the umbrella before heading out hunting! Buyer beware.Iâve had similar issues with the screw-in mounting bracket with other umbrellas in the past. I was able to fix the problem by adding an additional locking nut on each side of the mounting disc, and applying a couple drops of permatex thread seal before reassembly (see picture). Chalk it all up to a crappy design, that has never been improved/perfected.However⦠the real question is⦠why market/sell a device that needs to be âfixedâ by the customer before it can actually be used. Allen Company could just as easily add locking nuts to their product during assembly. As for the additional couple cents that would add to production costâ¦Iâd be willing to pay an additional couple bucks for an umbrella I could use right out of the box. As for the missing strapsâ¦? Guess Iâll just buy a different brand next time. See if they know how to count.

Got this for my son in law for Christmas and he was so happy with it!

They are great quality and easy to use.

Absolutely tiny and very fragile and will cost me £30 to send back so I’m stuck with it, not for long though as it’ll fall apart,Amazon were very unhelpful
