Works great, my Maine Coon took to it right away. Only a couple negatives: As virtually everyone says, the instructions suck! Second, and it’s related to tge first, connecting to my network was a real pain!A couple things that might help someone, the instructions say something like “power on the feeder” and a picture of the camera. All that actually means is: Plug it in. There is no button or trick.Also, if you have a modern router, it should adjust between speeds. I have ATT fiber and, once I got beyond trying to scan the QR codes (didn’t need to -another instruction flaw!), it was fast and easy.

I use this for cat treats and itâs great. I set them to dispense at 2pm everyday and can also release them from my phone while Iâm home or away. My kitty is fascinated by it and has tried to get them out but hasnât been able to open it/tip it over.

It would alert your app.It would also be useful in case it was clogged or jammed.

Spring loaded latches – nice.NOTE: Battery backup retains schedule and recording even without WiFi. If the power is out the WiFi is probably out as well. A red indicator on the feeder blinks to show the batteries are low.Set up feeding schedule from App:Select MEAL PLAN – Defaults to every day of the week. Every day should be green…if you want every daySchedule each meal event. It is 24-hour military time.FEED NUMBER – this should really be written âFeed Portionsâ Three (3) portions equals two (2) tablespoonsâSAVEââADDâSet up additional feed events per day. Set up was easy, hooking up to wifi was easy, making meal plans simpleâ¦now if it would only dispense the food when it is supposed to, or even at all. The auto feed plan is useless I have to manually tell it to feed. Iâve tried everything including resetting it and reloading it into my phone.
