such a powerful and useful machine
I recently got my hands on the Jackery Portable Power Station, and it has completely transformed the way I approach outdoor adventures and emergency preparedness. First off, the design is superb. It’s compact and lightweight, making it easy to transport. I love that I can throw it in my backpack without worrying about it taking up too much space. The handle is sturdy, which is a plus when carrying it around. With a whopping 1500W capacity, this power station can charge my laptop, phone, and even run small appliances like a mini fridge or a small coffee maker. I took it on a weekend camping trip, and it powered my devices for the entire duration of the trip! The versatility of charging options is impressive. It comes with multiple AC outlets, USB ports, and even a car port. I was able to charge three devices at once, which is incredibly convenient. Plus, the solar charging capability is a fantastic feature for longer trips. During my camping trip, I tested it under various conditions, and it performed flawlessly. The battery life is excellent, and I appreciate the LCD display that shows the remaining power and charging status. It really takes the guesswork out of managing my energy use. Overall, the Jackery Portable Power Station is a game changer for anyone who enjoys the outdoors or wants a reliable backup power source. It’s efficient, easy to use, and well worth the investment. I highly recommend it to campers, travelers, or anyone looking to stay powered up in any situation!

    Perfect fit for my need
Looking for a power station can power my gas furnace in a power outage. Worked stellar during test run. Sturdy shipping packaging. Quiet during charging. Responsive and straight forward app. Battery management system seems functioning on different charging rate when battery in different temperatures.LiFePO4 is a much better choice for power station purposes than first generation ExploerThe battery pack has a lower charge/ discharge limit of 32F/14F. Depending on your intending purpose it may not fit your need.Only minor complaints are the battery arrived at 29% which is not the best for long term storage and there is no insulation for winter temperature in the shipping package.

    Great Generator
I am an Electronics Engineer and purchased this generator for backup power. This generator is fantastic with a great design ,it is small and not to heavy, has a nice front panel to see charge level, load and input power.I am also a Amateur Radio operator and have used this to power my station in the event of a power outage. My station draws 100- 800 watts depending on transmitted output and it ran this for over 5 hours with 15% charge left. When first received it had a 30% charge and plugged into AC and it charged up in a couple of hours to 100%. I ran an 1800 watt heater and it held the load without any trouble. Of course it would not last to long due to the over rating of the load .I used the 200 watt solar panel to charge the unit and with two partly cloudy days it took about 4- 5 hours each day to be fully charged. with full sun this would be faster. The solar panel works well but you have to move it periodically to maximize solar input and it has a small sight glass to be sure you are aligned with the sun angle.I am very pleased with this generator and will most likely get another so that I will have 400 watts of solar going into the generator (it has two 24volt charge inputs).I did not try charging from my car 12 volt dc . I need to get a cable, though dc chargers are often limited to 10 Amp charge current so the charging could take a while.Overall great unit with versatile charging options( reason I purchased)Have a few of these around and you will have a portable decentralized, quiet power source.

took it on a campout and this is what I found out
So, we took this on a camp out the weekend before last.It does charge pretty fast for it’s capacity. The light feature on the front was very helpful when I couln’t remember where I had packed my lamp, we arrived after sundown, and the Jackery lamp was enough for us to be able to set up our easy up tent.next morning, we tried to use a regular electric grill with this, drained the battery dry very quickly(grill was same as max output of 1500). We finished cooking breakfast over the propane stove(good thing we brought a back-up)pro -it kept us updated, on Battery life, so we could see the battery power slipping away very quickly when we were using the grill.pro -charged again, we had a limited time at the outlet we found, so at least we got enough charge to recharge several phones a bit later back at the campsite.another pro is the flat top, which makes it easier to pack around, and place a charging phone on, and out of the sand.something to be mindful of- it can be a little heavy, though I know it is lighter than some of it’s other mates.

    Much better than expected
I was skeptical about this battery but it offered good performance at an affordable price. This is very well designed and it’s actually quite good, easily powering 2 refrigerators and recharging phones during a recent power outage. Highly recommended 5⭐️

Great technology for outdoor power on the go!
I like many things about this latest Jackery product: the LiFePO4 chemistry is safe and long lasting, with 4000 recharges for its life; it has simple controls that allow ease of operation and reading, it charges fast, the surge power capacity is a plus for many of my powered appliances, the size makes it a good fit in my camper/trailer or truck, including the fold flat handle. Looking forward to testing it on a trip next week and trying a 200W solar panel to charge it. I still own and use my Jackery 500, a great smaller unit!

Love it, sturdy, well made and not too heavy to handle and carry. Great carry handle and I like all the various plug types. Manual is complete and super helpful. Charged it today to 100% via AC plug for 6 hours. Looking forward to using it to charge laptop or workphone during power outages and to do things like boil water for coffee or noodles, recharge powerbanks etc. We may get power outages for 8-10h or longer during winter snow storms, so adding this to my winter readiness and survival kit makes me much more at ease in feeling prepared. Worth the cost.

Very well built. Compact power house. Will run a 42” tv and a Starlink for hours. A must have for power outages. Fast charging even with the solar panels. The ability to monitor and adjust the unit with Bluetooth is a nice feature. I have owned other units in the past but none as good as the Jackery 1000 v2.Good purchase.

I’ve been using my Jackery for a couple of months now to power my Starlink in my truck and recharge all kinds of batteries and speakers while out camping. This unit is super handy with the solar panels! They keep up to everything I plug in to it when it’s sunny. Would highly recommend this product to anyone who’s looking for portable power. On a side note: I need to praise Jackery for their customer service. This probably went on sale ($1399) a short while after I bought it ($1799.) I requested a refund from them and they were quick and professional in issuing one. After a ton of negative experiences on Amazon with uncooperative companies, this was a breath of fresh air.Thank you, Jackery!

This review aims to help other buyers choose the right Jackery unit.It provides feedback on how this particular unit performed compared to other Jackery unit I own.Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 – 2024 New Version, 1070Wh LiFePO4 BatteryI purchased this power station during Amazon Prime Days in July 2024, with high expectations for what the new technology could offer and hoping for the best Prime Day deal from Jackery. This is my second Jackery power station. I bought the Jackery Explorer 1000 (1002Wh capacity) 3.5 years ago (early Spring 2021), and it works wonders! So I was very excited to add another unit to my “Jackery family.”Performance TestTo start, I decided to conduct a simple test comparing the old Explorer 1000 and this new 1000 v2 to see how long they could power the same appliance, one by one.I plugged a small chest freezer into each unit. Both Jackery units showed 160W power consumption on average. I tested them one by one in the same room (indoors), temperature, and did not open the freezer during the test.Results:- My original Jackery 1000 Explorer kept the freezer running for 6.5 hours. I disconnected it when there was still 4% charge left.- To my surprise, the NEW 1000 v2 version with all its “modern technologies” drained to 2% less then in 5 hours. While the new 2024 version charges quicker and may have a longer battery lifespan, losing 2 hours of backup power with the “new technology” is not what I expected from Jackery. As a side note, my original Jackery 1000 still runs at 96% of charge after 3.5 years of weekly usage, so the battery lifespan with the old unit is not bad at all.Pricing and DiscountsI thought I got a good price during Amazon Prime Days, but it seems Jackery is just playing with numbers. The current prices are almost the same as they were during the “Prime Super Sale” event. Jackery also offers “additional discount coupons” to current clients (Jackery club), but these discounts can’t be combined or applied to sale items, which ultimately results in the same final price as everyone else pays. Just buy when you need it, or don’t buy at all, since it looks like Jackery is lowering the power capacity in the new units.ConsiderationsAt this point, I’m considering returning the new 1000 v2, as it’s quite weak compared to its “older brother.” However, I’m not sure what to get instead, since I still need a second backup power unit at home and when I travel. When looking at the competition, it seems even less promising than Jackery. I will do another detailed review about it when I make a choice. I still might consider staying with Jackery, but I’m not sure what to get since the new units seem to be underpowered.Other Jackery options withing reachable price range:- Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus has mixed reviews (13% negative)- Jackery Explorer 2000 PRO has 17% negative feedback- Jackery seems to have some real issues particulari with the 2000 modelThe only one that currently has good feedback is the Explorer 2000 Plus, so I might get this one and provide another review.Stay tuned!
