Good ball, decent price, picking the right size is a little difficult
First, love the purple color. Itâs like a muted grape hue. Packaging was good. Comes with pump, instructions, 3 plugs, plug remover, measuring tape (see photos). The deflated ball looks really small when you first take it out of the packaging. Donât worry, itâll inflate to size. A lot of peopleâs reviews says the ball doesnât get to size. When I first started pumping up the ball, I got it to inflate to the lower end of the size range (55 inches) pretty easily. Took about 10 min of constant pumping with the included pump. I waited a few minutes and then added about 20 more pumps of air, waited a few minutes again, added more air. Eventually, it got to the high end of the size range (65 inches) without too much extra effort. The whole set up took maybe 20 minutes. The instructions say to wait a day after you initially inflate the ball if itâs not getting to size, then add more air to allow the PVC material to stretch, but I didnât have this issue. The only thing slightly negative Iâll say is that if you are looking for a specific sized ball and want it to be on the softer side (more give when you sit on it), size up. I inflated my ball to 65 inches (max for the L size) and itâs pretty hard, not a lot of give when I sit on it (then again, Iâm on the smaller size). The overall size of the ball is good and what I expected, but I think I wouldâve preferred an XL ball thatâs not as inflated. For reference Iâm 5â3â and 115lbs and I bought this ball for gentle exercise/stretching and for early labor. The current height of the ball fully inflated would also make it perfect as a desk chair as well and the firmness would be ideal for sitting for longer periods. My feet touch the ground fine and itâs easy to balance on it. If it were any squishier, I donât think it would be an ideal desk chair as Iâd sink into it too much. Overall, itâs a quality ball, just make sure youâre ordering the right size. Iâd recommend getting the size where your expected size falls in the lower-middle inflated size range.

I don’t understand why my daughter wanted this. I assume she just likes to waste my money and clutter up my house. My personal frustrations aside, it’s big, sturdy, and easy to inflate. It does whatever my teenage daughter needs it for (I assume just to clutter up my house) and it’s strong enough that it was able to hold me when sitting on it (225+lb). I’m not “zen” or whatever it is that yoga is supposed to do for you. Quite the opposite actually, but if she likes it, then it was a good buy. For what it is, the price was right as well.

It takes awhile to pump up if you do it by hand…I finally used an adaptive bike pump and got it done faster. It’s worth it. Appears durable.

I almost thought Iâd have to return this for another size, but I followed the recommendation in another review to wait til the next day and fill it with more air and now itâs the perfect size.I am 5â3â, so I got the L size (up to 65cm). On first fill, it didnât quite get to the full size and when I sat on it, my hips were below my knees (not an ideal sitting position).The next day I added more air and it grew noticeably in size. Now my hips are comfortably higher than my knees.Itâs also pretty firm and I believe close to its capacity at this point. For someone with long legs, this size may still be too small if your plan is to use it for sitting on/pregnancy.
