Love this, great tablet holder!
I purchased one of these locally. Loved this so much we ordered a second one for another family member while they were on sale. Then we ordered a 3rd one so one is in the car aways.I like that it folds more flat to take up less space, makes it easy to travel with or simply slip beside a chair. I like that the angle adjustments are unlimited. I had the original flippy and noticed when I lie on the couch, it’s too big and I can only adjust it into 3 positions. This fold away one lets me change the angle many more ways. Very handy device and perfect for saving space too.We use them for ipad, and for kindle. Guests who come over reach for them if they are using their tablets!I almost took off a star because they are notorious for not closing well. I decided it’s worth it for the benefits though. It also had some “off-gassing” smell so I put it in the laundry room a few days for the smell to go away. It seems worse in the one shipped in a flat plastic mailer and not as bad with the second one shipped in a box, very odd. The seller also has a coupon inside the paper label but no way to apply it on Amazon.Highly recommend these.

Worth the money
A few days ago, I did a review of the Ontel Pillow Pad Ultra Multi-Angle Soft Tablet Stand giving It one star in sending It back in the meantime, I ordered this one and so far been very happy with it. Since it didn’t have to expand (The complaint I had with the other one that never fully expanded) Being rigid and hinged, it was ready to use right out of the packaging. It’s slick design will be useful for a plane trip that I’m planning and since it’s compact when closed, it will sit nicely on the tray table and fold up to fit in my carry-on. The compartment has enough room for my power bank, cable, and ear phones. I already put it on one of my list to get a couple for Christmas gifts.

Love it and use it constantly. Wish there was a choice of colors.
I kind of wondered if I wouid really use this a lot but I do. I’m on my tablet pretty constantly through the day, usually while sitting on my bed or on a sofa or in a hammock (I’m retired, lol), and this is so much more comfy than constantly trying to find a good angle with your knees propped up, or fiddling with your case’s built-in stand which really only works on hard surfaces and tends to collapse when bumped. This puppy goes from bed to lap to table to countertop like a champ. You can bump it all day and it won’t change angles or collapse on you! I take it with me traveling. I put it next to the bathtub if I’m going to have a nice long soak, or on the counter when cooking or cleaning. This is very chunky but probably less so that other tablet “pillows” and folds flat, which helps. The inner compartment is essentially useless since it’s too small to store my tablet and anything in it might fall out since it’s open all the time as you use it as a tablet stand. It should be redesigned with a flocked lining, deeper, an inner lid that stays closed while the top is opened, and big enough to store a 10 inch tablet inside it. All that extra protection against breaking when traveling would be awesome!But the reason to get this style is for a lap stand or bed friendly stand, and because you can adjust the angle however you want. I have used this every day since I bought it, and am constantly adjusting the angle without the hinges losing their ability to hold position. It stays at the angle you put it perfectly.The chunky lip kind of irritates me since the bottom edge of the tablet sinks into it making it hard to touch the bottom edge of the screen as well, but its not too bad and you get used to it. Doubtless it keeps things more secure that way, but I’d love to see another version of this with a bit less stuffing there. I pick this up and move it around with my tablet on it all the time and have not had an accident. But I always grab it in a way that I am holding both at the same time, and also my tablet has a fold back case on it, and the flocking on the inside of that case grips the fabric on this tablet stand –providing extra slip protection. It also makes a great safe stand for car travel as well, if you use your tablet to play audio while you drive. It will sit on the seat next to you or even right on top all the stuff you have piled on the seat during a long car trip.Obviously one can use it for one’s phone as well, and this thing is wide enough for both my tablet and phone side by side if the tablet is in portrait position. If you are at all concerned about electronic devices/EMF’s irradiating your body, well this provides some distance between your device and your lap which is probably just a sensible precaution if you use your devices as much as I do.All around one of the best purchases I have ever made for myself. I would give it MORE than 5 stars if I could.

You get what you pay for…
I knew it would be cheap and most likely not the best, nor my choice to keep, but I foolishly recycled the wrapping before I even tried it and now I can’t return it. I use it with my tablet in bed at night, and since I don’t use my tablet in landscape position, I have to keep a hand on it from falling forward, which is annoying. It lays on my stomach and it isn’t a pleasant experience, it’s too heavy and awkard. I don’t store anything in the shallow cavity, and couldn’t anyway, since it’s super shallow and just worthless. It does stay up when in use, so there’s that. The fabric is a bit of a joke and isn’t adhered to the foam, so it looks like you’ve had it forever and is beginning to show its age. Like I said, it’s cheap. I’m replacing the tablet holder I have that only holds a small tablet, and the new tablet is as big as an iPad, so the old holder doesn’t work, sadly. I’m not that thrilled with this, and would return it if I could, so I’ll make the best of it until I find another option.

Exactly what I was looking for to watch movies in bed hands free. Comfortable and reaches all the angles you need. Would support any tablet, phone or even a small laptop. I was worried the holding lip might block off some of the screen, but no it gives you a full view. I wanted something I could use while lying down flat. Perfection. Also nice mini storage for ear phones and other stuff. Rate 5 stars.

Soft, easy to use for the ipad on my lap. I was making holes in my shirts before this purchase. I love the angles I can put it at with the adjustable back.Nice little storage area for pens, paper, etc. lightweight. Great

Works well and easy to use but it doesn’t stay closed very well.
