This was one of my best purchases this year. I have the double feeder for two cats and they love it. You can set any feeding times and feeding portions. On the double feeder I have, the portions will be equal, no way to adjust one from the other. The cats have learned which side belongs to them. You can program your voice to announce feeding time, and believe me these cats RUN to it when they hear my voice. The only problem would be that if one pet is not as hungry as the other and leaves food in their bowl, the other will scarf it up in a heartbeat. So far on cat is not fatter than the other, LOL. The absolute best feature is that we can leave for a weekend or even a weeks vacation, and this feeder will take care of them. It has a battery back up if you lose power or one of the cats knocks the plug out of the wall. It will notify you on your cell phone app that the unit lost power and is on the battery. If that happens when your gone, it will still take care of them, or you can call a friend to come over and check it. Everything can be controlled from you phone with the app. It really doesn’t get any easier! Great purchase in 2023, as I’ve had it for about 8 months and it’s still going strong.One thing I did purchase when we go away is a camera that I put up in the kitchen facing the feeder. We can watch them in real time to make sure they are eating and everything is going well. Just gives us a little extra confidence that everything is alright.

I donât know why, but I tried lots of solutions and spent lots of money before I tried the automatic feeder. The feeder has worked perfectly! Both cats go running for it when they hear it and having the two bowls is perfect for them. Iâm going out of town soon and itâs so comforting to know this will be there for them. The only slight negative I have is that you occasionally have to open the bin and shift the food around because it all pulls through the middle, but itâs not a huge deal. The schedule function is great, you can also do ad hoc feedings, and the bin is impossible to open if you have paws instead of hands. I highly recommend this feeder – Iâd buy it again in a heartbeat. Itâs worth the price for what it does.

The feeder holds a decent amount of food, I was away for 6 days and didn’t need to replenish until well after I got home.The only thing I wish I could change is the voice recording option. It’s truly terrible so I’ve just recorded dead air, but even that’s loud.Also, you need to switch your internet to 2.5gh before you start the app process. A little prep work required, but not difficult.I have two 6 day trips within a 45 days of each other so we’ll see how it goes. Most feeders seem to crap out within the first 3 months so I will 100% update this review if I run into any issues. Fingers crossed!Edit: Dec 4, 2022.
