Very Happy!
We set these feeders up this week to help with the problem of 2 kitties with different eating styles: one a voracious eater who loves to visit his brother’s food bowl, the other cat: a snacker, who takes the morning to finish his food. These feeders are effective. We love the way you can program them from the app, even with a recorded call which is a signal to the cat that food is about to dump. There are just a couple of design modifications we think are needed. The feed tray is quite narrow with the side guards, and both our cats are large animals, and their heads barely fit the feeding area. Secondly, the retractable flap blocks some of the tray when it is in the back position, and the cats have to scoop food out with their paws. I had thought the retractable flap was very slow to return to the ‘start’ position, after the cat moved away, but then noticed another review .where someone pointed out you can use the app to even program the speed. Problem solved! We are very happy with these feeders, and they are certainly taking the headache out of catering to cats with such different eating styles!

So worth the price!! My two cats have different diets and this prevents them from eating each otherâs food. Therefore, my cats arenât overeating or undereating per their specific diets. This works fairly well but needs improvement
The good: these are fairly easy to set up (even with poor/incomplete instructions) and consistently dispense food at the scheduled time. Itâs near impossible for one cat to get into the other catâs food.The bad: food sometimes gets stuck when being dispensed. One of my feeders started to have this issue with every feeding. I had to reset the entire thing. You may need to change settings on your WiFi to keep it from intermittently losing connection several times a day (fortunately, this never lasted long and it reconnected within a minute). Itâs hard for cats to get all the food as it tends to get pushed toward the back of the feeder. I routinely open the lid to push the food back to the front of the bowl. This last issue is why I will try another type of feeder. The other issues are annoyances for me. Difficulty getting to the food is a major annoyance for my poor cats.

These were simple to put together. The app really helps and itâs cute that we can put their names on their individual feeder via the LED strip.I will say these are a little pricey but from what I saw, the prices are comparable to other brands so thereâs no way to save money with RFID feeders.

I was skeptical at first because of the high price tag, but I already had used a PetLibro auto feeder in the past, just not one with a chip, and it worked great. I recently took in a kitten with a host of health issues that needed special food, and it’s rather expensive, and the resident cat kept eating it (and she stealing his food and keeping him from eating). So I caved and used Affirm to get this.They were quick to set up, basically assembled already, and the app was easy to use. The app will try to bug you into buying a subscription, but it’s not necessary to use the feeder. You can adjust how quickly or slowly the lid opens, like how I have mine set to 1s delay because my cats are fast and thieves lol. You can turn off the meal time call; in my experience, food hitting the bowl is all the alert they need.They are no longer eating each other’s food, it’s quiet, and it works as intended. Very pleased and would recommend.

Worth every penny so far . . .
I got two of these feeders for my two cats with very different dietary needs. Putting them together was a breeze with just the written instructions. Set up was surprisingly easy using the app. I am impressed that I can control everything from my phone and even set up a customized greeting for each of the cats. It took a little bit of training for them to get used to the mechanics of the bowls but now both of them know how to access them no problem. For the pet parents that travel often or work call hours this is going to pay for itself.

I canât leave the house for eight hours without one of these feeders having some error where it will just make my pet starve, Just got back off of a five day trip and they decided to remove themselves from my Wi-Fi network and completely reset so that there was no way for me to even connect to them to set a feeding schedule so my cats are not able to eat the entire time I was gone. Itâs more than a porcelain food bowl.Iâm also disappointed that I am forced to buy two. If youâre gonna make me buy multiple of them at least make me buy multiple of something that functions properly. First, I was really excited to purchase this. I have a kitten who is a bully so I was looking for something that would make sure that both of my kittens were getting food and one wasnât hogging it all. Second, I was severely underwhelmed by the productivity of this product. It is not easy setup. The instructions are very basic with little explanation. Third, RFID ID tags and collars are very cheap and flimsy. The ID tag falls off almost immediately and the collars easily pop off my cats neck. Required no effort of tugging or anything to pop off my catsâ necks.Overall, I am severely disappointed with the amount it cost and underwhelmed with the lack of efficiency in making sure the tags remained on the collars. Once they fell off, good luck finding them and PetLibro had them out of stock for who knows how long which nullifies the whole point of the timed individual feeders if left open all the time.
