My working dog is nervous when people approach her. Though she works just fine and is well behaved in public (and at home), the occasional passersby tends to reach towards her quickly and/or tries to engage with her; which distracts her, makes her nervous, and sometimes causes her to dart away to avoid the person. She recovers quickly, but I need her to be focusing other things in the environment and not have to worry about being harassed. I need her to have confidence in public and I’m starting to see some improvement in her performance due to these 2×6, relective, florescent “DO NOT PET” patches. I had considered the black and white patches, but I’m very glad I went with these more noticeable ones. These amazing patches have already halted several encounters, however I still had one encounter in which I had to intervene.Whether you have a working dog or just a pet that is training or fearful, these florescent, reflective, patches in the largest size you can affix to a vest or backpack are a worthwhile investment.

We had a harness that already has a Velcro attachment. If you donât have that then you with either have to sew or glue the backing of the patch on. Theyâre very reflective and easy to see from afar.
