Definitely works
I have been dying my hair every month for the last 10 years at least. I have dark hair to begin with, and have accumulated quite a bit of grey at the front and temples of my head, with some salt and pepper thrown in elsewhere. I like the purple but do not like the bleed of most products out there, and I do have some damage as you can imagine . Not the point of all this is that this is a pricey hair dye, but I have used almost all the dyes out there and this one works… It lasts and leaves hair conditioned more so than before dying. Truly worth the price..

Fabulous Product. Great match to discontinued Garnier Grape Expectation !
I had been searching endlessly for a match for my purple (Garnier Grape Expectation) , which was discontinued. This is a perfect match for Garnier Grape Expectations! It is easy to use and does not cause any damage. I use it ever month and it covers my gray very well. The only improvement I could ask is for there to be a deep conditioner packet for after treatment.

Not even close to Permanent unless you are going for purple gray
So in my venture to find a replacement for my old favorite (Arctic Fox, review there) hair dye that has gone down the drain. I came across this one, having been dying my hair for well over a decade now I have TRIED some things. So this is not the first one claiming âpermanent purpleâ so I was aware it may not work as advertised. I was hopeful nonetheless.-So in mixing I was very concerned as the cream stayed an extremely light purple until 20 minutes into the process. Which to be fair I have seen before.-The formula didnât stink too bad, I have used much stronger smelling ones, definitely in a well ventilated area though.- After following directions and rinsing it did dry out my hair a bit more than I would like.- So as for color I was only able to get two spots to actually be âbrightâ purple. Those were the super blonde spots.-Side note: When I prep my hair I donât like to do an even lighting because then you get a flat âevenâ color on top. This way you get variation and dimension.- Everything other than the super blond spots turned an âAsh purpleâ like if purple were denim.- So I was like âOk fine not what I was going for but Iâll go with it a bitâ Unfortunately the next time after just rinsing with water about 90% of the color rinsed out! The bright purple was pastel and everything else was almost gray purple. It was the equivalent fade I would get in 2 months from any âSemi PermanentâSo All that being said my journey for a new better purple continues. In the meantime if you are looking for permanent gray purple this would be an amazing choice other than that donât waste the time and money.

Best color dye I’ve found
I have naturally dark hair and have been using this for a while. I’ve noticed that after a few applications the color is staying longer. Often times, it lasts a month before reapplication is needed.

Good, but the color is misleading.
This color was a bit disappointing but not horrible. The online color and description leads you to believe itâs rose gold. When I got it, the box looked like the color was a bright pink. Not what I wanted but ok, I can live with it! When I first dyed it, it was beautiful. That was mid November. I loved it. But here we are, about six weeks out, and itâs the color in the second photo. I still like it but itâs not as rose as Iâd like. Itâs more golden. I wash my hair once or twice a week, because itâs fine and it damages easily. This did not damage my hair, which is great. Iâd recommend it if you donât mind it fading rather quickly, and no damage. If youâre looking for more rose, maybe try something else, this fades to a golden tone.

No correct lid to use
Loved the color, easy to apply but the package doesn’t come with the triangle lead which was very inconvenient to use , no brush either, so I couldn’t apply it evenly. Overall good product

Nice color
I had fairly dark brown hair with a burgundy color over it when I started and this turned my hair a really nice Black plum. I really do love how it turned out. It is important to read the instructions carefully. I have very long hair but it’s not terribly thick so I had barely enough to cover it all. You might need two.However, it really was well pigmented and colored my hair nicely and a beautiful plum dark purple which is exactly what I was looking for

This product is worth every penny , wish I could turn time back and only use this , my hair is destroyed ..I am a tough critic for hair products as I have tried them all and rarely does anything help, this colour feels different , highly recommend and will only order from now forward .

I wanted a black dye to cover my brown and my roots and it actually has done the job perfectly! And I even have extensions in.. Am hoping it will stay in as a lot of dye fade after a few washes (also depends on hair condition). Definitely buying again!
