Love this backpack – my second one in over 10 years!
Very pleased with this backpack. 50 liters is a lot of space to pack my items; clothes, laptop, books, etc. My first one weathered well through all kinds of weather and travelling conditions (cars, hiking, planes, motorcycling). I still have my original backpack (still working after 10 years (approx) as well as this new one.I really like the chest and waist straps. With lower back sciatica it helps to manage the load when on my back. The carry handle is very strong, no matter how much weight is in the pack. The waist storage (zippered sections) is convenient, the ability to have a water bladder is excellent. The rain cover is an excellent feature and all of the extra straps for bedroll and such very convenient.Quality material that is securely sewn to minimize rips and tears. Again, I have my original to prove it. When I have time I’ll try to post pics.Cannot say enough positive about this backpack. Highly recommended!

Great value
I bought this to use on a 2 day hike. I have never hiked a day in my life. I am big and tall. This pack was everything I needed and more. I overpacked, added a sleeping bag plus another small bag (lightweight) and this bag handled it very well. The bag was probably at its limit but it handled the load. I do wish it had a few more compartments with zippers. No complaints overall.

Awesome, sturdy backpack
I got this backpack as a long distance day trip to1 day backpacking backpack and it has served me well.It is sturdy with two built in (removable) metal poles for back support. Despite this, it isnât too heavy. It is spacious with many zippers (of good quality) and lots of room. I personally use it when two people are backpacking as a smaller, second person backpack. I think it is a bit small for a single person (May be doable with light gear). Can fit sleeping bags, pads, water, clothes, and even a tent for backpacking without feeling like it will break. It comes with a waterproof rain cover. The backing is breathable and Iâve enjoyed every trip Iâve used it on. I would definitely get it again knowing what I know now!

Nice backpack
Nice backpack, especially for the price.I am definitely not an expert on backpacks, backpacking, hiking or anything of the sort. I’ve never owned an expensive hiking backpack so I can’t say how this would compare to a big name brand used by avid outdoor enthusiasts. However, I can tell you after several months of use, it’s holding up well. The bag itself is well made, and I haven’t noticed any defects in the manufacturing. The material is nice, but it does feel somewhat on the thinner side to me. The zippers are smooth, unlike most inexpensive backpacks I’ve owned, and the pull loops on the zippers are a nice addition.I primarily use this for traveling and camping, and the capacity meets my needs just fine. When we camp, we’re only out there for 2 or 3 nights, and we car camp so it’s not like I’m hauling gear long range. Same as when we go away for a weekend and stay at a hotel. There are enough pockets for me to stow smaller items, and the little pockets on the waist belt come in handy. I have inserted the support bars, but I don’t really use them. But, I have tried them and I can feel a difference in how the bag carries on my back. But since I don’t hike a long ways with the backpack, I don’t use them.Overall I’m very happy with this backpack. I think it’s good for general use, or a kid whose just starting to explore the outdoors. If you’re an avid outdoor enthusiast who does a lot of hiking, I really can’t say how comfortable this would be or how it would hold up. But for the average person I think reasonable expectations will be met.

Holds shape due to internal brace
Not the most roomy backpack I’ve had but it’s decent enough on a day hike. Materials feel a little flimsy and I’m not sure how it’ll hold up

Great Bag but 50L? prob not
First Impressions of OutdoorMaster 50L Hiking Backpack with High Strength Aluminum Support, Lightweight Travel Backpack with Rain Cover, Waterproof Camping Backpack for Men Women -PurpleThe budget bag is one of the best made bags I have tested as a Vine Voice, hence, I am rating it 5-stars – great value (especially with coupon/sale), internal frame, high end fabric, thoughtful design, few (but not none) compromises or shortcomings. The first thing I noticed when unpacking this backpack was the vibrant color and fabric. Everything looks precise and feels like some other bags in a much higher price class. I also thought that calling this a 50 liter bag was a stretch – as I have other bags in the 50L class that I could almost everything and the kitchen sink inside. If I were to guess, I would say the capacity of this bag is around 38 liters since this is a lot smaller than my 50L bag – but I donât have a way to accurately measure it.The zippers and straps are all done well and feel secure. Each zipper pull has zipper pull extensions â there is a small cord with plastic to help grab the zipper. The zippers are smooth and work great, though I wish they were the next size up with bigger teeth â in my experience zippers with fine teeth tend to fail more. I also wish there was a storm flap so if it rains, the water wouldnât breach the zipper area as easily.Thereâs compression straps, attachment straps, and a pair of loops for hanging things such as walking poles. The attachment straps donât expand far enough for a larger sleeping bag â I was able to easily secure an old army foam sleeping pad but with only a little more slack available for anything larger. I’m not sure if the top straps are for securing items behind the neck or if they are shoulder strap yokes â however, I did try securing another small air mattress and it did not interfere with wearing the backpack. The shoulder straps are one of the weaker points. I feel that the padding ends too short. Iâm over 6 feet tall and 250 pounds with wide shoulders. The padded area of the shoulder strap ends at the top of my pectoral muscles. I wish the padding was denser. The shoulder strap padding and back padding are designed to have fluffy loft to breathe easier but Iâm not complete sold on the effectiveness.I like the open pouch on the outside of this bag. This pouch allows me to stuff a hat, gloves, or maybe a small rain jacket shell and have quick access. There is a small bright fluorescent orange rain cover stored in a small pouch at the bottom of the bag. This bag comes with contoured folding aluminum bars to be inserted as an internal frame. They are curved so that the area where the load is not being supported can breathe easier.I always give ratings with the overall cost in context. Is this absolutely the best bag on the market? No. Is this bag a great value, well-built, provides an impression of quality, and functionality? YES, totally. This is why I think it is 5-stars. Hope this helps.
