    Great size
Female, 5’5″, small frame. Bag is nice proportion size for my frame. Appreciate absence of brand logos for traveling incognito with camera equipment. Bright green interior great for easily finding equipment/accessories. Nice padding on straps and back. Padded straps are a tad wide for my frame but comfortable. I had to shorten the straps a lot which turns out is a benefit to me as I can tie straps around my waist for additional support. Appreciate that bag is lightweight before I add gear.Canon R5 body, RF 70-200, RF 24-70, EF 100 macro, EF 50 1.4 all fit ! Photos attached are with Bag packed with gear. Versatile day bag if not taking camera.

    Amazing Quality and Perfect Size!
Extremely satisfied with this camera/laptop backpack. I spend most of our weekends vlogging for our you youtube channel. Which usually means we’re stuck lugging our camera and some times tripod around with us.This Bertasch Camera/Laptop Backpack has made all of that so much easier. With the adjustable compartments and the thick padding to secure everything in place, this high quality camera backpack is perfect for all uses. I’m able to pack my camera, multiple lenses, battery pack, extra memory cards, tripod, and even my laptop. This perfect size camera backpack is great for anyone who travels with their camera.

Roomy, photo pack for working from car; not durable enough for backpacking, air travel.
I use this product to organize my camera equipment and transport it to remote locations for use. It sees very limited backpacking since I take photos fairly near to my car. I expect it to last 10 years. It replaces a Lowepro daypack which looked nice in paper but the openings and storage spaces were so tight that prying a Nikon D5000 out of the Lowepro required 2 hands and an immediate lens change to capture a photo. The biggest advantage of the Bertasche case is that I can leave any lens on the camera and have it available to take pictures in 10 seconds or less. The second biggest advantage is that all lenses, filters, batteries, chargers, etc. are right there in their padded compartment available for use, not playing hide and seek in separate pockets. So fewer important family and nature photos are lost during initial setup. The against-my-back and side padding are adequate, and even fully loaded it is comfortable to carry. The laptop/ tablet padding against your back seems adequate to protect the computer stuff. The waterproof cover seems adequate for short term rain protection but not for extended rainforest exploration. The bad: The unzipped front door padding seems too thin to protect an iPad, especially because the case wants to flip over and lay on this cover whenever you set it down on its bottom. I will get a shoemaker to add a cross strap with an easy removal clip between the left and right shoulder strap, as the shoulder straps want to separate and slide off your shoulders if you are carrying things in your hands. The biggest drawback is that I would have liked to see the zippers be heavy duty suitcase zippers, but these are medium duty plastic zippers more appropriate for a spring jacket, and mine has developed one sticky spot after 20-30 uses, but slowing down over this spot prevents the sticking. The top or back could use 2-3 more utility zippered compartments outside the pack for keys, wallets, phones, etc. All of my compartments are already filled with batteries, cables, and memory cards. The top dome shaped camera compartment does not have Velcro attachments like the sides and bottom do, so even though the sales photos show vertical compartments separating the camera from another compartment up there, the padded divider is not attached at the top.

    Good quality but too small
Good quality but it’s not fitting my 2 cameras and a few lenses. On the photo it looked like it could fit much more.

    Sufficient for Short Hikes
Bag is very lightweight with lots of partitions to customize interior space. Padding is very light and has be carefully placed in a trunk and unlikely sufficient to protect against luggage in airplane overhead compartment. Fits a laptop and has a belt to strap to handle of carryon luggage. Access is only through the top, otherwise has to be completely unzipped to use anything at the bottom. I was able to configure to fit 2 cameras with short zoom lenses but not convenient for accessories such as batteries and photo cards. No waist belt to take distribute weight off shoulder straps so I don’t use when taking a long hike or on rough terrain. Warranty is only 30 days and enclosed card offering additional warranty to 90 days directs to a nonfunctional website (see photo). If you need something sturdy or more flexible access, buy a different bag.

    There is no perfect bag
So far the bag seems better then expected. The Good: The bright green interior is what drew me to the bag, and it really helps visibility of whats in each slot. Front zipper works great, and bag opens up easily. Fully configurable slots. Bottle holders so this bag can be used for anything else too. Feels protective enough of my gear. The Meh: Has a slightly lower center of weight than I’d like, and could have used a chest buckle on the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps have a somewhat abrasive feel to the mesh, and that could cause rugburns on longer hikes. Not enough dividers for my uses so I had to take one from another bag. The bag is designed for full frame cameras, but in my picture you can see it can be configured in a way to fit a mirrorless (olympus em1 mk2). There is no velcro fabric in the upper interior of the bag (it is a shiny fabric), so you cant attach dividers to the top portion. The front pocket is much smaller than I thought (barely fits a phone). Calling this waterproof in the title is misleading, and the included “rain cover” is janky and I don’t see myself ever using it.
