If youâre on the fence, just buy it! This toy box is made with real wood, which is hard to come by these days. Itâs important to note that the bottom of it seems more like a particle board, but regardless, itâs incredibly sturdy, and that is the only part of it that isnât real wood. Itâs a very spacious toy box with a simple design. It is also easy to assemble. I assembled it on my own with my 9 month old crawling all over me and the box lol. The value is on par with the price. I am honestly thoroughly impressed.

Really nice aesthetics. Pairs well with her pine ikea bedroom set. I built the toy box quickly with no issues and easy instructions. I hope it lasts a lifetime. She can open and close it herself and loves to sit inside and play with her toys. It holds a ton of toys! Itâs sturdy and has a nice weight to it.

LOVE this toy chest. It is very sleek looking and the overall design is beautiful to where it could fit into any room whether it be boy, girl, or toy room. It was easy to assemble and itâs very sturdy with it being wood. It is very easy to use since the top does not shut on its own (as pictured) we can keep SO many stuffed animals in there as shown in the pictures I provided. Its function is straight forward. We use it for toys but it could easily be used for blankets or other items as well since the storage capacity is high. I would recommend.

Love this toy chest. The size is perfect and it comes with a safety feature, so the lid doesnât slam down. The assembly was quick and easy and my husband put it together in 10 minutes. Great quality and my toddler uses it with ease.

The toy chest is very nice, fairly easy to assemble and surprisingly roomy. The only reason I didnât give it 5 stars is because during assembly of one of the hinges the wood started to split and crack. Keep in mind there are tiny pre-drilled holes. All you need is a screw driver, and not much force. The first hinge and screws went on without any issues. The second one, the screw caused the wood to split and crack before it was even half way in. Thankfully the problem was contained to just one area of the wood. The other screws went in without any issues. It is still a nice toy chest.

My 2 boys have been using this for a few years now and it has held up great! Between it being sat on and jumped off of as well as holding tons of toys. The latches still work great and it looks basically new. (Aside from the marker and stickers lol)

My husband and I love Melissa and Doug’s brand. Most of his toys are Melissa and Doug. This toy box is awesome! I wasn’t expecting the lid to be able to stay open at any position you place it in. Definitely good for the baby’s fingers and head. One thing, the lid is a little tricky to get on, it’s hard to align it properly so it’s perfectly straight. We were lazy and my OCD hates me for it. It’s just a smidge off. Still works fine and looks amazing, It’ll just bother me forever lol, it’s OCD.

This is great for toy storage. The lid stays exactly where you put it and the small open space between the bench and lid means no squished fingers. Lots of space and I like that it’s also sturdy enough that it could be used as extra seating. It also looks nice in our living area.

I wanted something inexpensive, good quality and attractive to store household cleaning materials and a couple of pails in one of my bathrooms. Bathroom cabinets were either unattractive or too expensive. Thinking outside the box, I stumbled upon this toy chest. It is perfect! I put it together very quickly and without any problems. It is extremely well made and the assembly instructions were very straightforward. Even the packaging was superior. Very good value for money.

We love this toy chest. It is the perfect size. Quite large and fits a ton of toys, but not to big to take up a lot of room in our apartment. It looks very nice and functions quite well. The hinges used are quality and they allow for very easy operation. The lid stays open in any position and never comes crashing down because the hinges hold it in place. This is a important feature because the first thing my 9 month old baby did was walk up to it, open and close the lid multiple times while taking several breaks to stick his head in the toy chest and see what is in there. This toy chest is very safe so I have no worry of it hurting my curious little baby. It is also the perfect height so our 9 month old can stand up and hold onto it, operate the lid himself, and reach a few toys that are closer to the top. The wood is a good compromise between durable hardwood and lower cost particle board. I am sure it could support children who want to sit on it and maybe a light weight adult, but it is really not designed to be used as a bench.Before this toy chest came toys were everywhere. Pilling up in corners and hard to clean up at the end of the day. We needed a toy chest so onto amazon I went. I have a few other of Melissa and Doug’s products and they are all made very well and our baby has loved them. I was happy to see that they make a toy chest so I have something to contain all the toys they sold me. I think this toy chest is a good price point and uses durable enough materials to last a long time. It is also nice that it comes in different colors so that you can match your decor. Building this toy chest was very easy, anyone could do it. It only used one tool and took about 20 minutes or less. After I built it I noticed that the lid did not align well and it would crash into the side of the toy chest when I closed it. So I loosened the screws, realigned the lid and then fastened the screws. Problem was solved. It also mentions in the instructions to wait until it is full assembled before you fully fasten all the screws. I found that it was important to have the chest on level ground when fastening all the screws and not have two legs on and two legs off the carpet like I did at first.I would recommend this to anyone who has a baby or child with a lot of toys. It is really nice to have a place to put all the toys at the end of the day and also control how many toys are out in the play area at one time. I look forward to using the toy chest as a teaching tool to help my son learn how to tidy up after himself. This is a great chest for my 3 year old’s toys. It holds alot of toys. It is well made and good quality. Easy to put together if you follow the instructions. Eg. Not tightening all the bolts at first and angling the lid when putting the safety arms on. It took me 1 hour and 15 minutes to put together by myself while 6 months pregnant.
