Bergan Turbo Scratcher Alternative Pads, 2 Pack

A satisfying scratch for all!
I have three cats and one Bergen Turbo Scratcher. If there were more floor space, I’d have three Turbo Scratchers since the little brats love it so much, but alas, they are forced to share. This means that the scratcher is rarely unoccupied, and the cardboard center magically transforms from a solid circle to a million little bits all over the living room within a few weeks. In an effort to keep peace in the house and hopefully extend my consecutive hours of sleep, I keep a supply of replacement centers on hand to prevent the riots from ensuing when it gets demolished.These centers fit in perfectly- there are little tabs on the scratcher and the center has to be kind of squished to fit underneath them, but the result is a snug fit that’s worthy of standing up to a variety of the most rigorous and vigorous scratchies.The youngest (and most evil) absolutely *must* keep her claws extra sharp in order to slice flesh whenever the whim strikes, and does so by having 5+ minute scratch sessions multiple times daily. My old man, who thinks he’s still a kitten, will attack it hard-and-fast with wild eyed fury, tear around the house, then speed back for a quick resharpening before heading for a snack. The eldest, a declawed rescue, just loves to dig her little toes around the edges and squish them between the ridges in the cardboard, prying it apart.Between the three of them, the scratcher gets some pretty hard wear. It’s still in surprisingly good condition, and the only piece that’s needed replacing at all has been the cardboard center, so I’m happy that there are replacement centers available. I’d hate to replace the whole thing for just that. I have noticed that the replacement cardboards seem to wear differently than the original- not that they fall apart any more quickly, but more that the circles will come apart instead of the whole thing disintegrating. Perhaps they’re made with a more sturdy cardboard but less secure glue? Either way, the brats are happy, and it’s apparently a more satisfying scratch than the sofa so that makes me happy.

Great Replacement Pads
Perfect replacement pads for one of the greatest cat toys of all time, the scratch and roll or whatever people call it! It fits perfectly in the circle space, have never had an issue with it fitting and have used these with a few different variations of the toy. These stay in place really well, will not come up while your cat is scratching them. They also last a while, about 3-4 months each for my one cat, and you can flip them over to get 2x the use! Great product and easy for sprinkling catnip on.

My Fur babies favorite for 3 years and counting
I adopted my cat, Earl, a little over three years ago at the time he was seven (that was the age the shelter guest him to be). The day I picked him up I stopped at a local pet store to grab supplies and toys the turbo scratcher was one of them.He instantly Took to the turbo scratcher, he would Claw way at the center circle. I remember the first night I heard him tossing the little ball around the circle and I knew he was happy with his new home.I’ve now had Earl over three years the turbo scratcher I bought at the pet store is The only toy I still have that I bought that original day. I actually bought one more on Amazon so he has two one in each of his favorite spots of the house.Earl is a big boy about 18 pounds. Every six months or so I do have to replace the scratching component/center of the toy because he scratched it down. These are very durable scratchers. Three years later at these are still his favorite toy. They may last longer than six months with other cats, my cat is big and uses this scratch her multiple times today.I will definitely be buying again, to have a toy over three years is Money well spent. I’ve bought him toys that cost more (electric mouses, games, you name it I bought it for him) but none have lasted as long as this.I will continue to buy these for my fur child, and do highly recommend this productIf you found my review helpful please let me know, I rely heavily on the reviews of others when I shop and try to be helpful as well.

I bought it as replacement pad for my CatIt and it’s bigger in diameter. I just had to peel off a few to fit it in the holder. It’s well-made so it worked. The only thing is I bought 4 units and it all came separately. Not very practical considering the amount of plastic used on each.
